Malvolio...as for raghead,,,my cousin is slightly dark skinned her brother is white...her brother calls her raghead and yet he loves her very much.. So no the term ragead dont bother me in the slightest.

I think America should sort out the racist problems there before they worry what Harry said years ago.

Oh and as for the Nazi costume yes it was bad taste..but it was a fancy dress comp and a lot of fancy dress outfits are bad taste,,,but its ok,...u want to focus on the minor details and forget all the good he does.

Tbh when you have seen as much racism as i have "Against WHITES....then ...you just wonder why it is so one sided

As I said...I lived in a predominatly asian area and i was afraid to go out at night...because of the attacks on white people...and the cops did nothing because they were accused of being racist whenever they did ...but i assume its ok if its not safe to go out ....

33. 27. This is hilarious. #1 It happened 2 years ago. #2 Have you ever spent time with anyone in the Army??? They say far worse things! And the person who was called a "Paki" probably said very derogatory things as well... and probably didn't complain until he decided he could make some money of this..


have you even seen the video?. the asian lad was minding his own business, harry was filming and he zoomed in on him. now i don't believe that he called him "our paki friend ahmed" out of friendship in fact its sounds more sarcastic than anything else.
i doubt very much that his family have spoken out as regards to harry's comments for monetary gain as by all accounts they are very well to do.
harry knows exactly how calling someone a paki is viewed in this country and it was not necessary for him to say what he said. he could have simply said there's ahmed but no he had to add the paki.
also his raghead comment is also used to describe asians who wear turbans and not in a nice way either. its simple enough to say that he is used to name calling and i wouldnt be surprised if he used similar terms to descibe black people also.
people here seem to thnk that because he has joined the army that this should excuse what he said and because he said it a couple of years back that somehow today he wouldnt dream of calling someone a pakior raghead, people are people and they will continue to say whatever they have been used to saying. that does not change overnight.

34. yes i know the way it is karen, i still live here. what i meant was that in the 80's it was rife what with the skinheads culture. i dont doubt that in some parts of the country it is still bad but not as bad as it used to be. now people have more to focus their hatred on .now its not just about the blacks and the asians but the eastern europeans as well. people who say that there is no racism here must be deaf, blind or white.

35. sorry karen but what you say about white people getting attacked in asians communities is utter b*llocks. you do not think that this would be highlighted by the media? ok isolated incidents perhaps but this is predominantly a white community. that being said i doubt very much that the police, gorverment and the media would allow asian communities to run amok like that. you are trying to give your writtings credibility by coming out with that loads of twaddle. youre as bad as the other poster who said someone in her street blah blah blah.

the thing is..most people in this country think its political correctness gone mad the fuss about the tape. The majority have said the fuss is to much so obviously most arent concerned about it at all.

There are many areas ie London Birmingham Peterborough Bedford Bradford where there are huge problems still. And by no means is it as one sided as you make out. In Hull..although we dont have a lot of asians..but we have a lot of eastern europeans yes...and the amount of trouble we had because of them is incredible. And...when a lot of local people r denied council housing to enable these people to get a house...no wonder there are problems between the British people and the Eastern Europeans. And then when you chuck in the fact that they get free housing free benefits free health care...while local people are having to work...not getting free housing etc and then maybe its easy to see where the resentment comes into it.

In Peterborough I lived in a block of flats. When some country was allowed in EEC no more locals was allowed to apply for a lot of the council housing...becauce they had to keep it free for apps for those people. Incidentally...the one who moved into the place next to me had people going i n there 24/7 and would all loiter on the stairs. When they eventually got evicted the place was full of needles. And ofc im not saying its just the none brits that do drugs etc...but when a lot do in a small area a area can soon decline :(

Get with it....you claim you have been here since 1975. Some areas are NOT predominantly white. Handsworth Bedford parts of Luton..parts of Peterborough Bradford and many others,,,

In Peterborough....a whole area...covering a 1/4 of the city was given over to asians. In Birmingham..you can walk for ages and not see a white person.

No trouble called by the Asians/Whites?

Lets see..Toxteth riots...Bradford Riots...and yes a 17 yr old lad was slit in the neck in Peterborough..and this caused unrest for some time...

Sorry...but your trying to make out its all the whites fault and we are so evil...and the blacks/asians/east europeans are all innocent ..when thats not always the case.

Maybe you need to go to some more inner cities and see what its really like.

38. the whole country is predoninantly white, the asians, blacks etc are not why do you think they are labelled the minorities?. i came here when i was nine yrs old at that time yes the word paki was rife because of my age when the word got chucked at me i basically had to swallow, so you saying you have lived here for your whole life like that gives you a more informed view is just you assuming i came here when i was of some age. i have grown up here bar few years.

you exagerate the violence in this counry caused by the minorities towards white pople. you mention hadsworth which is aa you know an area of birmingham. i and my other half who is WHITE have been to that area many times over the years. he even lived there when he first moved here from cornwall. cornwall which was basically a pure white community apart from a few asian families then( this is what he told me when he spoke of his home town). in all the time he lived in handsworth considering where he is originally from he did not encounter any problems with the black or asian community and he didnt keep himself to himself he lived amongs the people who lived there , day or night. you mention bradford, hull, yes way back there were riots etc but it is nowhere now near what you are claiming.
I dont believe that these stabbings in london for example are due to the ethnic minorities causing that. they are being commited by white youths or have you not being keeping up with the news.the violence is not happening as you say to white people.
another example, does the name jean charles de menezes ring any bells?. in this country we brown skinned people are all muslims/asians to your normal everyday racist and also to those running scared down to the events surrounding the london bombings.
I wish that we only had certain areas to be worried about for us it is anywhere in this country. how would you feel if you had to be careful about the clohes you wore or what you were carrying.
for you to try to make out the white community is hard done by in every way where it is violence against you, jobs, housing or whatever is just plain dumb and as i said before is only to give reasoning to what you write, but it isnt the truth is it!

The thing Karen did forget to mention is that the people who come to Great Britian from other countries come here for whatever reason and take the benefits that come with living in this country and then do nothing but whinge about the country and slag us off.

It is predominantly white here? And YET ... more and more rules are in favour of the ethnic minority. We shouldnt have flags up cause it might upset the ethnics...we shouldnt celebrate St Georges day cause it might affect the ethnics..there shouldnt be morning assembly with prayer any more cos it might upset the none christians. The kids shouldnt have school christmas parties any more because again it might upset the muslims etc. In Leicester infirmary they wasnt allowed to have bibles in the hospital cabinet like they used to ...because it might offend the ethnic minority. Political correctness in this country is absurd and we must be the only country in the world that changes so much for people that come to live here.

And what do we get in return? These people who our way of life is changed for come here and just trash us. We have the one hook arm guy Abu Hamza inciting racial hatred against the British..even though the British taxpayer paid for him and his family to live here. We have the guys trying to blow up the Scottish airport..a british police woman getting shot and killed..yes it is very unsafe to walk around parts of England because of racial problems.

If your going to comment tell the truth. The racism is two sided and if its so bad living here why do so many still live here?
