Hayden Calls Cops After Bouncer Boots Her

Hayden Panettiere called the police on herself! Allow us to explain.

Law enforcement tells TMZ Hayden P threw a hero-sized fit when she got tossed out of a 21+ club in Suffern, NY just before Christmas. We're told a bodyguard noticed her in the packed crowd checking out the Jon Turco Band and thought she looked young, so they checked her ID. He saw her DOB (she's 19) but evidently did not recognize her name. The club, per state regs, had to show her the door and yank her ID.

Now here's the best part: She was so steamed about losing her ID, she actually called the cops on herself to try getting it back. Cops showed up, got the card from the club ... and then gave it back to HP. The pic (right) is of her outside the club. Also, we're told she wasn't drinking or anything.

46. Big deal, everywhere else in the World, the legal drinking age is 18. At 19 You are considered an adult in every other respect, yet you can't legally drink. Stupid law!

48. First of all...I never read so much garbage in my life. TMZ, as usual does not have the whole story. Hayden and friends went to NV to listen to the band...they were invited in by the band. They did not sneak in or anything. The owner of the place realized Hayden was there and wanted to announce it to the crowd...Hayden politely declined saying she just wanted hang with her friends and listen to the band. The owner kept insisting and she kept refusing. A little bit later another owner came over to the group and asked to see all their ID's. They showed them the ID's and the one guy decided to keep Hayden's ID for no reason. She politely asked for her ID back and the owner said he was keeping it...if you don't like it call the police. Hayden needed her ID back as she was boarding a flight the next day and the guy still refused and told her if she wanted it back she had to call the police. So she went outside and called them. I would do the same thing. The police were very professional and courteous and agreed that the guy should not have taken her ID. They went in and got it back for her. And the kicker was, TMZ, that you somehow overlooked in your reporting, is that on that particular night ANYONE WAS ALLOWED IN THE CLUB TO LISTEN TO THE BAND....IF YOU WERE UNDERAGE ALL YOU NEEDED TO DO WAS GET A WRISTBAND. How come the club owner did not mention that little fact to Hayden and her friends and let them stay with wristbands.....???? For crying out loud...as they were leaving a little kid was allowed in. It seems quite obvious that the club was ticked off because Hayden was trying to stay LOW KEY and just hang with her friends quietly but the club wanted to use her "celebrity" for some free publicity. Shameful. So for all you "know it alls" out there...stop judging people until you know the facts and assuming that you know everything and that every celebrity is tying to sneak in a club....this time it was just not true and the whole story got twisted as usual.

49. If I recall correctly, there was a published picture of her waay before she was famous like in '01 maybe, dancing with Paris on a stripper pole, smoking and obv. drunk... the article was about Paris, but someone should dig that up... she's no innocent flower, I don't feel bad for her at all!!

ALTHOUGH it would be a huuuuge deal if her driver's licence number got in the wrong hands... I'm glad she got it back, especially if it was valid.

51. Hayden should come up here to Winnipeg, MB, Canada, where the drinking age is 18, which only makes sense because you're a legal adult at age 18. To have anything else still to attain once you become a legal adult makes no sense. Hayden, come party with me at Winnipeg bars! Bring your black heels and cigarettes, too! Yummy yum yum. And we have a lounge here called the NV Lounge, too - get your revenge by going there, Hayden! Winnipeg was also where Renee Zellweger's new film New In Town was shot, but don't let that film fool you; in the summer it's just as warm here as it is in L.A.

52. The people that you are calling "Jackson Whites" mostly live outside of Suffern in a small town called Hillburn. You are semi-right. Most of the people that live there are bi-racial, white, black, native american. They're very nice people and it just so happens that they tend to date, hang out with , others in their community and therefore all seem to carry this "JAckson White" Look.

Also, the name of the bar/club that she was at is called NV. It used to be the ramapo valley brewery but it recently changed over into a posh new hotspot that I guess is cool enough for Hayden to attend..

As for the band she was trying to go see....wannabee rockstars.
