20. Unbelievable! With the debt this country has we are now using designers to decorate the White House private quarters. What is wrong with the house the way it is? I'm sure people who lost homes would think it more than adequate. On top of that, how much of tax dollars is footing the extravagant inauguration? No wonder the working man/woman can't get ahead. We're supporting everyone....rich and poor.

25. Michelle made an excellent choice by choosing Michael Smith as their designer. The pictures were beautiful, providing me with several decorating ideas. For those who believe their tax dollars are somehow being directly spent on the Obamas apear very narrow-minded in their thinking. As most people know that when the a president (local levels governors/mayor) are given the opportunity to decorate their new home, much like a new home owner would. Any reasonable person should know this. Regarding Obama's mother-in-law moving in, other presidents such as Truman mother-in-law lived in the white house and Laura Bush's mother often spend weekends in the white house. Their are many who find fault in the Obama's family simply because of their race; that is a fact. Given this, I am sure the Obamas and his supporters are use to double standards and double talk regarding his presidency. People always resist change, so the insult and hate are expected and tolerated, because true visionaries know how to look and press forward in the face of opposition.
