76. BRAVO - Barack the Magic Fraud you are simply eloquent and very well stated. I am also very pleased at Bush's ability to keep us safe. I didn't have to worry about dodging bullets for the last 8 years. Obama is not the next coming of the Messiah; he is the next coming of the Apocalypse. I wouldn't wait at my mailbox for his checks that he promised us. He is a great speaker and personable but that is it.......useless otherwise. It is ridiculous that we have to pay to have him dine in opulence and extravagance while Americans struggle to pay our daily bills.

80. Sure wish someone could answer thw question. Because why would someone not want to acknowledge BOTH parents and BOTH ancestors, that is who they TRULY are, right? I would like to see Obama get up there and acknowledge that he is of both races and acknowledge who he truly is, by not acknowledging this he is leaving out his mother, the woman that gave him life. I think he is only emphasizing the black part of his race to be known as "The first black President" and that is a lie.
He is not being true to himself and to the public.

You will not get your answers because he has the media running interference for Mr. Obama. Member when Palin was put out there as the V.P. candidate and how many reporters did they send to Alaska??? If the media had done half the checking on Obama, he would not have stood a chance. I am not being racists but rather honest, black people voted for Mr. Obama because he is black and the whites voted for him out of white guilt. Now, if I am wrong Obama supporters out there tell me why you voted for him and do not answer Hope, Change, Not George Bush---- please give me an honest answer and I will respect that.

85. This is so stupid. White guilt? What the hell are you talking about? I'm white and voted for Obama because #1, he's a democrat, and change is good. We need a change after 8 years. Don't fret, it'll swing back again, it alllllwayys does. And, #2, I'm sick of this "war" having not accomplished the key goals Mr. Bush promised. It's that simple. Your generalizations are just tiresome. "White guilt?" "Messiah"? Who the hell started the Messiah stupidity? I never heard anyone call Obama that except pissed-off conservatives just being snarky. I'm equally irritated by the Bush-bashing. He wasn't my favorite and I didn't vote for him, but he was my President, too.

88. All of this fighting is about the menu selection? Really? Anyone in here ever planned an event at a hotel? This menu is completely typical. High end typical, but still, very par for the course.

Regardless of your personal feelings about Mr. Obama's ability to run the country, his faith, his heritage, his tatse in food, his wife's taste in dresses on and on and on, he was elected to the HIGHEST OFFICE IN THE LAND do you really think the Hilton Washington DC is going to serve this man rubbery chicken brests and rice pilaf on the eve of his inaguration? I am pretty sure the Democratic National Convention or some other group is flipping the bill for this from donations, Not the tax payers.

Also, there was a post about Mrs. Obama's mother moving in too and the bloggers concern about the cost to the tax payers to feed her. Just a little lesson for you guys....the president and family must pay for there own groceries, clothing and personal items. The only time the cost of food is covered is when there is a state dinner. Just thought you might like to know... Oh and thos dishes the Bushes ordered at the cost of 1/2 million dollars, paid for through fund raising.
