NEWMAN!

The 56-year-old resurfaced at some sort of event in New Jersey, looking 56.

Laraine allegedly had a strong rivalry with her fellow "SNL" cast member, the late Gilda Radner.

Although Newman has appeared in various TV shows, she has achieved greater success as a voice artist.

31. I was wondering about her the other day. I'm glad to know she's doing well. Loraine Newman rocks...

32. OK,

Some bitter women are attacking my post. I just want to address some of their fautly logic.

Just because I was attractive and extremely popular in high school does not mean I am now fat (apparently the worst thing that could happen to someone according to these women) and miserable.

I am a pharmacist that owns several drugstores. I fund and work in several non profit youth organizations in our metro area. My daughter is also a cheerleader and we are both size twos.

Proud to say I never took drugs in high school or hang around with the drug taking crowd. My sister was killed by a classmate who was driving while high. Glad the one poster is proud of her partying past... what a "groovy" message to today's teens. I hope your past drug use hasn't exacerbated your obesity.

Feel free to criticize me if it makes you feel better!

As ever,

Jean... Go Panthers!!!!!

33. RE: #31: Jean, you should be proud of your accomplishments in life, it's good that you do things for the community. HOWEVER, I have never seen you say anything positive about anyone other than yourself. That's why everyone rags on you. Maybe if you got your ego in check instead of being a self righteous BITCH, you wouldn't have to justify the fact that you haven't gained a pound in god only knows how many years. TRY SAYING SOMETHING NICE FOR A CHANGE!!!

34. What gets me is that whenever we see these former celeberities, most of the time they have had so much work done they look plastic, Here is a woman who obviously allowed herself to age with nature and we chew her up. there is somethng messed up here.

35. I even 'memba her old nose, which made for quite a striking profile.

Gilda was a more energetic performer, but Laraine had a louche sexiness about her. I agree that she looks wonderful. The oringinal Not Ready For Prime Time Players were a remarkable bunch, not like the yuppies we've been force-fed for the last two decades.

36. I remember years ago that it was said she wore something like a backbrace for her spine and supposively, her chin and nose became more aligned with her face. It wasn't a story that stood out like someone trying to lie about plastic surgery, I think it was reported as a medical condition she had. Anyway, she looks damn good for 56 and not plastic. Just someone with good genes. Loved her over the top performance in Problem Child 2.

37. When you think of all the SNL players who didn't live to be 56, then being 56 and looking it is a wonderful thing. Think of the alternative...

40. And one more thing. My daughter isn't really a cheerleader, because I don't really have a daughter. I have never been on a date, but I am still hoping one day Mr. Right will come along and not mind that I am obese and have rashes on my thighs and other places on my body where my fat rubs together.
