I think it sucks that TMZ does not mention the co-pilot, they are both up there working TOGETHER to ensure a safe landing, but there is no mention of the co-pilot. They are both pilots and only one gets recognition?

I am a USAirways fight attendant and we are very well trained every year in emergency evacuations , situatioms. If we ever encounte an emegency landing, the crew, (flight attendants and cookpit crew ) are to get the passsengers out within 90 seconds!
I was very proud to see that everyone made it out safely! A total MIRACLE. Heads up to the cabin crew.

The guy did a great job but I don't know if he's a hero because he was saving his own life as well. his actions would have been the same if was flying solo.

Hahaha you jackasses! Yes, let's all thank the pilot for the best possible crash landing ever! If I'm gonna fly on an out-of-date death trap that should have been but wasn't safety tested for something unrealistic as birds crashing into it (because God knows that airport is nowhere near water), I hope Captain Jackass is flying the plane so I can pat him on the back on the way out the emergency exit and say "thanks man, thanks for not killings us."

Crashing would indicate total loss of control and simply spiraling to the ground/water. This man was calm, cool, and collected and LANDED the plane into the water. There is a big difference. JFK, Jr. crashed, Sully landed the thing in the safest way he could. All reports indicate if they had done any different they would have CRASHED into populated areas.

Sullenberger is the man who should be President! What a hero and what wonderful qualifications this man has. So unlike the sneaky Obama who has gone to such great lengths to hide his notorious past and has pulled the wool over everyone's eyes.
