If you wanna get your child the gift of mental illness and homicidal nightmares for their birthday, just give them the Hallmark Joker b-day card -- which plays a voice recording of the phrase "Let's put a smile on that face" when opened ... and watch the smile on their face disappear. Lest we mention the bad taste for Heath Ledger's family....

Let's try not to be idiots here.... when an actor or tv star begins a project that will be shown to the public, they sign an agreement/contract that acknowledges the fact that their face and likeness can be used for publicity and or merchandise.
so no one needs to be sued. unless Heath specifically did not sign any contracts. come on nowww
Whats the difference of putting Elvis, Marylin and other famous dead actors?

C'mon TMZ, proofread, proofread! =D
I don't understand why parents would think giving your kid a birthday card with a serious drug addict on it is funny. I just don't get it.
Ha ha ha. That's a good one Luke. I guess in your world drug addiction is not serious. What drugs do you take son?
Wow....some one is over reacting.....my 7 year old loves the Joker, not the comic cartoon Joker, but the awesome Joker that was brought to life by the late Heath Ledger. We had the most awesome cake made with Heath's Joker on it. I just wish I would have found this birthday card, instead we settled for a large SponeBob with the Joker smile, which we added, and my son loved it. He's all about the villains.
