The tax breaks are extremely advantageous to the very wealthy. I would never accuse a government of being corrupt, as I have no personal knowledge that they are. Let me just say the Bahamas are a beautiful vacation spot, goverened by laws that are perhaps different than those in the U.S.

18. It just broke (YAHOO NEWS VIDEO) that they took a photo of Jett while he lay dying. They told the family it was going to the highest bidder unless they paid $20 million for it. What pigs they are! Imagine losing your child and then having a "friend" betray you like this? Those poor parents..... My condolences to the family again. Throw the book at those monsters!

27. We saw what a corrupt place The Bahamas is during the Anna Nicole Smith case. Is anyone surprised this happened? As Geraldo said, wouldn't this blackmail refer to "Travolta's lifestyle", since nothing about Jett would fetch such a huge amount of money?

29. I agree with #28. They have inside info about John and Kelley's personal life and lifestyle. They were negotiating to keep that private. His reps caught these conversations on tape. So there indeed is information that is noteworthy or there wouldn't be a scandal. Enough said.
