Details in Mystery Travolta Extortion Doc

John Travolta & Jett TravoltaWe've now gotten to the bottom of the mystery document that was the basis for the alleged extortion plot in the John Travolta case.

Sources connected with the investigation tell us John Travolta told EMT workers he wanted to fly his son to Florida rather than drive by ambulance to the hospital ... which was 45 minutes away.

There was a disagreement over which course would be better. John felt initially it might take the same amount of time to get his son to Florida where he might get better care.

The document at issue would have released emergency services from any liability if Travolta elected the Florida route.

In the end John realized the hospital was Jett's best hope.

17. This is bull-crap! I think this was made up; this isn't what the extortion was about. They're just trying to lead everyone away from the truth about the real details of the extortion plot; it's all a big "secret." Everything about John Travolta is secretive. This entire story about Jett is sad and it seems the Travoltas are hiding more than one thing. Yes, the boy was left unattended for more than 12 hours, and was probably dead for quite awhile. He wasn't being watched properly. Those Scientologists are weird, man. I live in Clearwater, FL, and they all walk around downtown looking like zombies; they are brainwashed. Strange cult indeed. If the Travoltas had given Jett the proper medication for seizures, proper caretakers, and recognized his disabilities, he would be alive today. The Travoltas should go to jail; they are in part responsible for their son's death. What a shame and a disgrace. And it's all a cover-up. John Travolta is a FAKE - plus he's gay.

18. IF that's true, that's disgusting. IF that's true, why would you take the time to fly to the states rather than have close-by medical attention?

IF that's true, then why did they even take their special needs son out of the country?

I'm withholding judgment because we don't know all the facts. But I'm thinking Scientology plays a big factor here. Perhaps the Travolta's wanted to get him to a Scientology "place" to "CURE" him?

Something is very fishy...

OMG -

20. Please make this all go away. I want to remember John Travolta as a nice guy, good actor, commited family man, etc.

All of this is making me very nervous for my prior conclusions of his general niceness. Say it ain't so John.............. I did'nt need to lose another person of admiration in my life. There are so few left, why this crazy cultish weirdness? I think that was always forgiven til now. Sigh,............... another lost soul after all.

22. I don't want to judge and I feel so sorry for the Travolta family especially Ella, but what's been reported so far:

To get to the airport takes the same amount of time as the hospital, and then there's flying time, plus time to get from a Florida airport to the Florida hospital. As the Travolta lawyer stated "each seizure Jett had 2 times a week was a mini-death" - so why weren't his round-the-clock caregivers trained medical professionals?

23. I wonder if John or Kelly will ever wake up and see what they have done. They chose Scientology over their son. I don't think they did it on purpose, I think they are brainwashed and need serious help to get out.

I read that John's own brother said Jett was autistic and John was in denial. John's brother did a documentary on autism.

24. I read that John's brother said Jett was autistic and John was in denial. John's brother did a documentary on autism and knew autism when he saw it and he said Jett did have it. Not sure if this is in fact true I read it some where.

25. #2 and all you other stupid f'kng doubters, get a grip. JT was living in the worst minutes of his life. He had been trying to revive his son desperately for a long time and the ambulance comes and he is just desperately grasping at any straws to possibly save Jett's life. You are MORONS to think it was some sinister Scientology plot.

I don't agree with Scientology, but I believe with all my heart if John thought there was something he could do to save Jett's life there and then that did not jive with Scientology, he would have done it. This boy suffered with disorders that grew worse over the years. They did everything they could and then some to make him well and more comfortable. The drugs would stop working or had bad side effects. It happens... often.

I cannot believe there are so many MORONS here, dreaming up these idiotic, paranoid schemes.

27. It is so sad that Travolta's son died in the Bahamas. I am from the Bahamas and it is so stupid for people to blame the "country" for what happened. I know of so many Bahamains who travel to the US and experience mishap yet this does not discourage the rest of us from visiting. Educate yourselves! If many of these people spend lots of their time in a country that is so beautiful, warm and welcoming to many it is obvious that things can go wrong just like if they were in the US.

28. I was in the Bahamas about 9 years ago with my husband who has severe asthma. Whild there he came down with a case very severe case of pnuemonia. My husband refused to be treated by doctors in the Bahamas. We booked a flight out of there ASAP an he spent a week in a Florida Hospital. So i can understand How JT may have felt, With havng access to a private plane he probaby could have had his son in FL within 45 minutes.

30. So John Travolta wanted to take his som by plane? What is wrong with that> I can see how he may think that would be faster than an ambulance. John realized in the end that the amblance to hospital was best. So what is wrong with that? What in heck is all this extortion about? This is ridiculous. The poor kid is dead. For God's sake. leave this alone.
