63. I am a recovering alcoholic, but back when I was drinking I never received a DUI, but it wasn't for lack of trying, as I drove drunk many times. As an alcoholic I was drinking 24/7 so it wasn't just a matter of getting home from the bar. I had to go to work, to the gorocery store, pick up the kids, all the things done in a normal day. I just hope that Gary finds a better way, because there is hope.

64. Drunk driving is fun! We try to see how many cats, mailboxes, etc. we can take out. We also take bowling balls we stole from the bowling alley and chuck them through rear windshields of parked cars as we drive by. Of course, we don't have that kind of courage when we are sober, so we try to drink everyday! S'fun! Spicy rum and cokes! And a doobie sometimes if we can afford it......

short piece on the effectiveness of interlocks. The Parade

article highlights the huge reductions in repeat offenses that

interlocks can achieve by making it so that drunk drivers can't drive
