Asian Group Not Mad at One of These People

When Miley Cyrus transformed herself into Hanoi Montana for this photo -- she had to know it would turn into bad fortune.

The OCA -- a group "dedicated to advancing the social, political and economic well-being of Asian Pacific Americans" -- is fuming at this photo of Miley and pals for using what they have deemed an offensive, stereotypical gesture.

The OCA sent us this statement: "The photograph of Miley Cyrus and other individuals slanting their eyes currently circulating the Internet is offensive to the Asian Pacific American community and sets a terrible example for her many young fans. This image falls within a long and unfortunate history of people mocking and denigrating individuals of Asian descent...

...Not only has Miley Cyrus and the other individuals in the photograph encouraged and legitimized the taunting and mocking of people of Asian descent, she has also insulted her many Asian Pacific American fans," said George Wu, executive director of OCA. "The inclusion of an Asian Pacific American individual in the photo does not make it acceptable."

"OCA hopes that Miley Cyrus will apologize to her fans and the APA community for this lapse in judgment and takes the opportunity to better understand why the gesture is offensive."

16. For some inexplicable reason, the brilliant 16 year old singer Charice Pempencgo of the Philippines is a huge fan of Miley Cyrus. Charice has more talent in her little finger than 100 Miley Cyruses could ever possibly have, but one must make allowances for Charice's naivete given her tender age and the power of big money media to make fake stars like Cyrus. Now Charice will be subjected to an act of mockery by her hero which directly insults the Filipino people and all Asians.

Way to represent your country, Miley, you little twit.

17. Sorry people but this is a big deal. Why should eople have thicker skin? Can't this stupid, vapid brat grow a brain and some self restraint? Maybe the entire asian community should threaten a boycott of Disney. IDisney is an international brand and should be reprimanded. Its ignorance like this that later eventually leads to other things as hate crimes and violence.

19. The reaction to this photo is what keeps racism alive, if people didn't look for an excuse to cry racism everyday to cover up their own flaws it would not exist. I am saying this as a minority myself.

26. a bunch of young friends goofing around. 2 asians in the picture - all look to be friends having a good tims. & you don't have to be on anything to laugh. I have never seen so many jealous & judgemental people - Miley is beautiful, talented, & rich - get over it!! People spend too much time judging & tearing people apart. I wonder how many of you judgers could pass the PERFECT test. I'm sure you would all fail. I would love to see the skeletons in your closets.

28. tHIS IS AN OBVIOUS JOKE GET OVER IT. The none asians are making their eyes look slanted white the one asian is opening is eyes wide as to make them look none slanted. So should poeple like myself who do not have slanted eyes be offeneded that the asian kid is moking our eyes.

30. Who cares about the Chinese eyes. I am concerned at the fact that she is 16, and hanging out with people who are drinking. (Guy with the wine glass on the far right) Even an idiot can tell that she is clearly wasted. This isn't someone I want my young girls looking up too.
