I will never see another movie Bale is in. Bale should be fired from that movie. The person he was speaking to should be able to sue him for making a threat, or sue for damages. He should be able to press charges of some kind. If Bale makes an apology later for PR purposes I won't buy it for a second. When someone loses his temper by accident, it usually lasts for a few seconds and then he catches himself, but this was something different. He must be very mean or insane. This should not be allowed on a movie set or any workplace. I hope the person he was speaking to can have union support to press some kind of charges.

I cannot believe what I heard!! He needs to be taken down several pegs. Nobody should ever be so full of themselves that they behave like that. How old is he... Three? As a matter of principle, I will never see a Christian Bale movie again. If anyone deserves never to work in this town again, it's him. There should be a "Boycott Bales" movement, until this spoiled jerk grows up. Does anyone agree with me?

Let's see if we can make this clearer-- Working on a film set is probably one of the hardest, most stressful jobs in the world. A 20 hour day is not unusual. On an action film, the actor is not only emotionally stressed but also physically stressed. This moment could have occurred after a long slog. Regardless, those who keep harping on what a jerk Bale was don't have a clue how he reacted the first time the D.P. walked on set. Maybe the first time he politely asked that it not happen again. Most of an actor's time is sitting around waiting to shoot. Believe it or not, that waiting can be hard on the actor. They want to get out there and do their thing. D.P.'s come in all flavors. Some are insanely fast, others less so. Slow D.P.s drive actors, directors and producers nuts. I have no doubt that this D.P. is a perfectionist. It explains eternal tweaking. But when action is called you just have to stop. He didn't and since was the second incident, probably late in the day, Bale lost it. It happens. It doesn't give anyone the right to paint Bale's entire life as a rage fest.

What an uneducated moron! The small minded man only knows one word! The DP was walking behind the director. He did not interfere with the filming. If Bale can’t do a scene unless everyone behind the scenes remains perfectly still, then he’s not that good at what he does. He should be in the moment. In he scene. Paying attention to the other actor, NOT what’s going on off camera. I say replace Bale! He was nothing until Batman anyway.
