62. Who does he think he is. Makes a couple of movies and thinks he has the right to berate someone. He won't be around very long. I have no interest in seeing a movie casting a pompous ass like that.

63. Assistant director and associate producer on the film -- told us "Christian is a method actor and was completely immersed in his scene." However, as Christian Bale states: "My mind is not in the scene if you are doing that." Referring to Shane Hurlbut walking in the scene. So when Christian called Hurlbut a "prick" he must have meant it.

Bruce Franklin -- assistant director and associate producer "Terminator Salvation." has an investment to recover on, and naturally claimed this outburst by Bale as a non-event. Bruce should have docked Christian a million dollars for the outburst, or fired him on the set. Instead, damage control. - Christian was in the scene as if he was some brainwashed zombie berating, and embarrassing Shane. - Boycott "Terminator Salvation."

65. "Holly Potty Mouth Batman" I hate to see him when he really gets mad. Alfred has done a poor job teaching master Bruce some language manners. I was yelling out the same kind of language the other day, after I rented some of his past movies and seeing / realizing what a sh*ty actor he really is. He better wear that bat-cowel for as long as he can and save those paychecks. I hope his next movie tanks. Heard the next title of his new Batman Movie is "The Vacant Theaters" I would have loved to see him yell at one of the "Teamsters" movie truck drivers that way, he have to call that
1-800-DENTIST Hotline to get his teeth fixed. Now that's a movie I would go see!

66. I think Bale is an asshole, I can understand at first being upset because the guy walked in on his scene, but to keep going on for 3 minutes. I wouldn't have listen to him I dont care who is thinks he is. That is the problem with some of the celebrities they think that they are above things and "punks jump up to get beat down". I would've liked to have been there because I would've stuck up for Shane and would've had a few choice words with Bale. I do not respect him anymore and really don't think that his Batman performances have been that great, I think he has just had some great villians.

67. Christian is TOTALLY justified is going off. The set is "his office" and he's working and when people are screwing around when your in the zone...it upsetting. Tells me that Christian cares...I'll see this movie just like all of his movies.

68. Bale is a complete ass, and this is not the first time he has shown his temper. Being under pressure is no excuse, we all operate under pressure every day. It's not like he is under the pressure like our military peresonnel or a law enforcement officer. He is an "ACTOR", nothing more than a kid pretending to be something he is not. Let's keep our priorities straight here; Bale owes that man a public apology and needs to seek anger management treatment. Every blue collar employee in the film business should blackball Bale and refuse to work on the set of any of his future projects. Bale needs to remember that he works for the paying public and should conduct himself accordingly; he needs to understand that he can become yesterday's news real fast as the next best thing is just around the corner like he was a few years ago!

71. This guy is a time bomb. He won't be in pictures long. He is good in BATMAN and I think that he is just all pissed off because Health Ledger is getting all the attention. No offense to Health but I think the Dark Night was one of the worst Batman's yet. It was way to loud and I just like didn't like the story line, really their wasn't much of a story. Health is always was the only thing good about the Dark Knight. If Health hadn't died I think the movie would have been a bomb. Health deserves an Oscar just not for this movie. Bale has nothing on Ledger. He couldn't fill just one of his shoes. End of story. BALE IS IN RAGE BECAUSE OF JEALOUSY. GET OVER YOURSELF BALE. I AM SURE WE WILL SOON.

72. I have mixed feeling about this incident. Having worked in the entertainment industry in Hollywood most of my life, I can tell you there is nothing worse than working with a "screamer" on the set - usually, it's some prick director. I actually made a conscious choice never to work in an abusive setting again after being screamed at myself on the set.

My other feeling is that the tendency to hire young, totally inexperienced rank amateurs in Hollywood is aggravating in the extreme to those of us who understand the golden rule(s) - such as when the take starts, you do not move, you do not make a sound, you NEVER do anything to interrupt the scene. So what this a-hold D.P. did was inexcusable, and he could be justifiably fired for this.

However, Bale's handling of his justifiable anger was also inexcusable. He should have taken up his concerns with the producer and let the producer handle it. So Bale was also out-of-line, especially the way he just kept going and going in front of the whole crew. Badly done, Bale.

74. A public apology, Reg? Are you serious? Is everyone so young they have not seen someone lose their temper at work? By the way, he was OTJ when this happened and what probably happened is some fella who is a minimum wage punk trying to get a dime recorded him losing his temper and sold it for a couple grand. Everyone loses their temper at some point and it sounded to me like he may have had a valid reason to be angry but overreacted, but since everything that led up to this point was not brought in, who knows the situation! And....here it is folks...what does it have to do with the public? Who cares? it is interesting to talk about, but a public apology. You must be joking.
