Jenny from the block is one step closer to owning one! 
Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony are expanding, and recently purchased the house next door to the one they already own on Long Island. And while the house looks nice from the outside, it's definitely a designer nightmare on the inside.
Hopefully the $2.05 mil price tag didn't include the furniture.

19. Sure it could use some updating and is probably not J.Lo's taste but that house is beautiful and has some gorgeous, well-kept antiques. Not everything has to be flashy and brand new.

That is a beautiful home with lots land and privacy.........it has good bones and those look like original hardwood floors ....dont worry once Jlo decorator gets in there you wont regonise the place. I do not think Jlo and Marc purchased the houe for the furnisher, but for the LAND.....AND TO KEEP THEIR PRIVACY AS THAT IS THE ONLY OTHER HOUSE IN THAT GATED AREA..............SMART MOVE.

25. just because the interior design is traditional doesn't mean its a nightmare!!!! Geez, I am sick of every Californian (and I am one of them), thinking a house has to be modern, cold, or overly casual to be beautiful. Look around the rest of the country and this is what you'll see

28. It looks like a very nice place to me. You can always redecorate. As long as it's structurally sound, - that's what matters. Jennifer's Mom has been staying with them for a while and helping with their twins. Maybe this is a gift from Marc for Grandma!

30. In case no one caught it yet, the house is on the PLATINUM COAST of North Shore of Long Island. 2.05mil won't buy you a shoe box there. This is a typical, older colonial (prob early 1900s) with very tasteful furnishings. JLo will turn it into modern ass tacky nightmare.
They have a house in either Old Brookville or Muttontown; do a search for houses there. This is a little nothing.
The only thing more amusing are the taxes - I'll bet the property taxes are $30k a year.
