Celebrity Justice
Fitty Won't Have to Pony Up 50% to Babymama

50 Cent50 Cent's baby mama won't be able to take half his loot, a judge just ruled in New York.

A Supreme Court judge just dismissed Shaniqua Tompkins' claim to half the rapper's assets, which she had estimated at $50 million. Tompkins is the mama of Fitty's 11-year-old son.

The judge said in her judgment the relationship was "an unfortunate tale of a love relationship gone sour." Both sides had filed memorable affidavits detailing their pillow talk -- she claimed 50 promised to take care of her "for life."

Didn't work for Babymama, but her lawyer says he could file an appeal.

Brett Kimmel, 50 Cent's attorney, tells TMZ, "Ms. Tompkins's claims pertaining to a $50 million verbal contract were entirely frivolous. In dismissing the case before trial, the court is sending a clear message. This is a complete and total victory for 50." 50 himself added, "I'm very thankful for this decision. I knew that once the facts were heard that justice would prevail. I hope now that we can put this behind us and move forward with our lives."

2. She needs to match up with that Lufti who wants Britney's money. Two lazy good for nothing low lives that don't want to get jobs and earn their own money. The Judge did well in this case. She deserves nothing.

4. She deserves nothing for her. She gets child support for the child. The Father also help raise and sees the child. She, however, deserves NOTHING for herself. Get a job and support yourself like millions of other women have to do and deserve to do. I can never get over how some women think they are entitled. You are not entitled - get it.

5. GET A JOB!!! having some rich man's baby does NOT classify as a job. you DO NOT need to get paid for raising YOUR child that YOU decided to have.

10. I am a woman 1st and a die-hard fan of 50's 2nd. I understand why Sheniqua thought she should get a juicy chunk and rightly so, she has 50's child but and there is a but ...... in my opinion, as long as he adequately supports his son financially and because he's obviously the richer of the two, he should only have to make sure that his son has a nice environment to live in and be taught in the best schools. In my opinion those perks for Sheniqua should last until lil' 50 is 18. Afterwards, he's considered a grown adult and if he chooses can go to live with his dad to finish college. 50 should not have to be made to guarantee a cushy lifestyle for his baby momma for the rest of her life. As long as he supports his son while he's still a child it's wonderful. Should his child want to attend college I think 50 should support him financially as well. Celebrity baby momma's need to realize that they can't demand half expecially if they did not build the empire w/their significant other. The only mandatory thing is that 50 fully support his child until he's 18. He is "NOT" responsible for Sheniqua's other children ...... Kudos to the judge ...

12. Dear On Point:

In NY, "alimony" (which is what she was looking for - meaning $$ for HERSELF) does not exist. AND, you can only receive it if you were MARRIED, which they weren't. I think it only still exists in CA and FL.

Second, child support is based on the father's annual EARNINGS, not what he has in the bank. Last time I knew someone assessed child support, it was 17% of his annual income, NOT his holdings (houses, cars, bank accounts) - that is not how child support works. So, if he made $1,000,000 last year, he'd pay her $170,000, regardless of whether he had 1 house or 10 houses and 50 cars.

Last, most child support agreements end when the child turns 18. Then, it's back to court and the couple tries to establish terms for college, which is rare. In NY, most agreements end at 18 when the child reaches majority. At 18, the child can take the non-custodial parent to court for more $$, but most judges laugh and throw out the case.

So, your point has no point, at least in NY.

And, if she has any other children that are not fathered by him, it's her problem, not 50s. Good for that judge!!

14. 50%!!!!!!!!!!! is she crazy!!!!

it just shows how no matter what, before you get married you must draft a pre-nup.
when it comes down to money, it changes people and the ones that are not entitled become greedy.
50cent is going to make sure his kid is taken care off and he is going to make sure he has a roof over his head even if it means paying the rent for his ex-.

love the music and the story behind the success of 50cent...

seems like a cool guy.
