I never understood the whole facination with the Simpson girls in the first place. Jessica's fangs were a turnoff and she never could sing. And people used to complain about Frank Sanatra. Ashlee wasn't pretty at all until some Doc did about $20,000 worth of work on her face, but she is still a lip-sync white Milli Vanilli. Did they ever win any Grammys? Give 'em back if they did.

Jessica has never been one of my favorite singer.s. The girl just cannot sing. If she knows that she has gained weight she should not have worn those short, shorts. There is nothing wrong with her weight as long as she is happy. She's not feeling to good inside and it's beginning to show.

Oh that poor girl! Wow, that was painful..... she has gained weight - just wore her shirt out to hide a belly. Her voice was really really awful.

Everybody that is degrading her is only jealous. She has a successful
career a great fashion line, makes movies. Is drop dead gorgeous, great personality and
had one of the most gorgeous men alive (Nick Lachey). She just needs a
better manager.
In the right movies and with the right songs she could be the best in
her field ...so losers...what are you doing with your life!!!....sitting here bashing a stranger....LOL

honestly I do not like Jessica Simpson but she can sing.....I dunno have any of you seen her earlier sutff? It may not be the music you like but she does have talent. Yea she didn't have a great performance and she is a little chubby but god leave her alone.

The most common excuse used by people who are trying to sing but aren't very good at it? "This system (microphone/monitor/earpiece/musicians/sound guy, etc.) is crappy!" The seond biggest excuse (for a celebrity)? "The media's being unfair to me!" Someone with some real pipes can blow critics of all stripes on their ass anytime they like.
