Chris Brown Arrested -- Caught On Tape

Chris Brown has officially been booked into the custody of the Los Angeles Police Department. He was driven to the station by high-powered attorney Mark Geragos.

Brown has been charged with one count felony criminal threats. His bail has been set at $50,000. He is still being investigated for a possible battery.

Geragos' past clients include Michael Jackson, Winona Ryder and Scott Peterson.

UPDATE 11:42 PM EST: TMZ has learned Chris paid his bail and was released.

482. They are both beautiful and talented. However they are both human ''Not Superhuman'', 97% of all guys have female friends, some w/benefits. A celebrity guy will always have many options when it comes to females. Is Chris expected to play like he's 90yrs. old and married? Wake up you two, it's really over. It lasted long enough now move on. Learn from this...The next partner should be told upfront ''I'm Going To See Other People''.

483. If Chris Brown wanted another woman then i don't see why he had to be dating Rihanna in the first place.
He obviously has enough money off his own and surely he didn't want to get more status from being with Rihanna.
I think Rihanna must of acted badly towards Chris once realising there was another txt from another woman on his phone.
However this is normal, obviously if you truly are in mad love with a person it would kill you to see that other women are txting your man's number, especially if Chris was responding to that women which i bet more than likely he was.
I think Chris is the one who needs to control his anger and taking it out on Rihanna was not the answer.
He needs to think what is more improtant cheating on your girlfriend with other women or real love i don't think he can establish himself between the two concepts.
I think there both young amazing celebrity's which i'm sure many of us admire, but i strongly feel that Chris should be made an example for what he did to Rihanna, weather he was angry with her or not it simply does not outline the fact that beating up women IS NOT OK and this view needs to be sent across to all the other young women in the world who are being controlled by their husband/boyfriend.
If RIhanna is being controlled behind closed doors then she needs to let go.
He's obviously going to not cause her anymore trouble while the paparozi are around now tho.
