Chris Brown Arrested -- Caught On Tape

Chris Brown has officially been booked into the custody of the Los Angeles Police Department. He was driven to the station by high-powered attorney Mark Geragos.

Brown has been charged with one count felony criminal threats. His bail has been set at $50,000. He is still being investigated for a possible battery.

Geragos' past clients include Michael Jackson, Winona Ryder and Scott Peterson.

UPDATE 11:42 PM EST: TMZ has learned Chris paid his bail and was released.

58. It is difficult for me to believe that Chris just blew up at Rihanna. There is way more to this story than a simple temper tantrum. I do not condone Chris hitting another woman but we need to give him a chance to hear his side of the story. Rihanna may play more of a role than just the victim here. Lets wait and see.

60. If you look at the arresting report he is being charged with a Class F Felony. Well these are the crimes that a Class F Felony consists of and the only one I see is the assault with bodily injury. It could be a 25.000 fine or up to 12 and 1/2 years. If you go to the LA Times it says just threats but that has to be a cover up. You can go to LA Sheriff's site and see it all, and he paid bail and has been released
