Chris Brown Turns Himself In

Chris BrownTMZ can confirm that Chris Brown just entered an LAPD station, where he turned himself in to police.

Chris is being investigated by the LAPD for an alleged domestic violence felony battery that occurred early this morning near Hancock Park in L.A. Police officials said earlier today they may arrest Brown when they find him. Well, now they know where he is.

According to the female victim -- who cops refuse to identify -- she and Chris got into an argument which turned violent. Cops say when they arrived at the scene, Brown had split, but the woman had "visible injuries and identified Brown as her attacker."

Brown and his girlfriend Rihanna were together earlier last night, attending Clive Davis' pre-Grammy party -- and both canceled their scheduled performances at tonight's event.

Brown is currently being interviewed by detectives.

Let the law prevail here, but our belief is that this girl is seeking some form of monetary payoff to drop all these charges.

33. So many people place these artist as kings and queens on high status , We only see them on TV not knowing what they are capable of behind closed doors. I hate that her reps are lying saying her face was bruised in a car accident which isn't true at all, domestic violence is serious and shouldn't be swept under the rug I don't care who it is. It took this long for chris brown 2 turn himself in what???? If it was anyone else they would have picked them up asap, He'll be out in the next few minutes or hour being embraced by many as if nothing happened releasing a statement saying he don't know what happened. I wish rihanna best wishes web sites are reporting their sources say it was her even though I knew it when she canceled. I wonder how many times have this happened and been kept quiet how do you just snap all of a sudden and hit a women out the blue? I hope this is a warning and help so people leave their situations a MAN SHOULD NEVER abuse a women in any type of way PERIOD, I'm sure they are trying to come up with a way to get the charges dropped.

-Chris Brown will send out some poorly put together apology

-Rihanna will stay with him and the two will attempt to do damage control for the image instead of addressing the severity of this

-People with make a big deal about this for a few weeks and then forget about it and go back to supporting him without any real accountability for his actions

41. Im glad he turned himself in tonight. Own up to what he needs to own up to do the time if that is waht is called for and get help if you need it. otherwise... If it was some crazy chick and not Rhianna... maybe she beat her own self up and Rhianna was out crusing the town in her nice ... not so nice any more.. car and drove into a poll or what ever.. We are only spectators... we don't have all the facts. But atleast he has gone in to the L'A.P.D tonight... better late then never.
