DMX Threatens to Beat Up His Jailers

31. Sheriff Joe Arpaio should be forced to spend a month in his own jail - under cover somehow so that the CO's don't know who he is or what he may or may not have done. Jails are not meant to be human science labs where those in charge get to play with the inmates as though they are animals. Treat people like human beings in jails and the violence and threats will subside. And if you don't think I know what I'm talking about, I was a mental health counselor in a jail for several years. Arpaio runs a COUNTY JAIL. It is a place for convicted people and people just waiting for trial. It is a place for MINOR criminals. They don't deserve to be treated like they are less than human - why do we allow this to happen and then complain about the recidivism rate? Why do we give idiots with high school educations or less ultimate authority over incarcerated individuals? Its a recipe for violence and disaster - and that's exactly what exists in U.S. jails and prisons. For those of you laughing about DMX's predicament and "nutraloaf" - remember that the next time you commit some minor crime like smoking weed, driving while slightly intoxicated, ordisturbing the peace while you're drunk. It's not hard to end up in jail and I know that probably 80% of the c/o's I've met in my life have committed the same crimes that land people in the jails they're in charge of.

33. He still doesn't get it. He is serving time for being nothing more than a common criminal. His fancy life is somewhere far beyond the bars he now gets to look through everyday. He got a lucky break when he became famous, but despite fame and fortune, he still remained a low life loser.

if he wants respect from the guards then that may mean that the inmates are giving him hell. he might need protection.
you people who are putting him down don't know anything about jail life. get someone on here who has been thru it and I'm sure they will explain his behavior.

Arizona jail is just plain out hell and they are trying to make an exanple out of him because he is a star.Fact is he is real! he aint gonna change his state of mind for some Arizona judge or jail gaurd to please knowbody!
