36. 9. LEAVE CHRISTIAN ALONE! People do worse things than what he did and the public just keeps on about his temper tantrum. I mean, damn! Studios spend millions of dollars on movies each year and pay these actors good money. He is a professional and had every right to go off on some stupid guy who was affecting the production of the film.

Actually, he and other actors who are OVERPAID for their jobs -- all they do is PRETEND for a living, they don't cure Cancer -- have the sense of entitlement they do solely BECAUSE they think their salaries elevate them above everyone else. No one, and I mean NO ONE, has the right to be abusive to others, ESPECIALLY not in the workplace. To humiliate others simply because you have a need to inflate your own fragile, fractured ego is unacceptable in a civilized society. Bale is a COWARD who abuses underlings and WOMEN because he lacks the b*lls to stand up to other MEN. As for his being a "professional," spare me. He ended up costing the studio far more because of his extended, childish tirade than the poor schmuck who made the initial mistake. Had Bale simply made his point and resumed filming, everything could have proceeded, but he had the sick and twisted need to be abusive, Now, he is using his own DAUGHTER in an obviously staged photo op to try to rehabilitate his image. His PR team knows just how stupid and guillible the public can be. But thankfully, not ALL of the public.

38. You guys at TMZ are really tasteless. Leave the poor guy and his family alone. Isn't it time to move on to Chris Brown already???

39. Actually, yes, these actors and most athletes are overpaid. The make more than the President of the USA, which is ridiculous.
As far as the issues with his mother and sister, WE WERE NOT THERE! That issue is a personal issue between all of them, period! And as far as the production/film/temper tantrum goes, this guy that Christian went off on was allegedly told over and over that he needed to stop fooling with the lights. Christian should not have had to tell him off, the guy should have been FIRED the first couple of times he kept making the same mistake.
There are worse people in the world who abuse children, murder children and commit horrible acts against others. If one temper tantrum qualifies in your eyes as being twisted like the acts that I just mentioned, perhaps you need to get your head checked.

40. I'm no fan of Bale's, but this one crosses the line into bad taste on your part, TMZ. Leave his kids out of it.

41. OMG this guy is breeding

42. Don't exploit Bale's kid.
It just goes to show what scum TMZ is for just one more web story to recycle.
Hey, TMZ staffers: Why don't you post photos of YOUR kids for millions of people to gawk?
Nope... 'didn't think you would.

I never once equated his behavior to that of murderers. I am adept in my use of the English language and do not require a translator, thanks. I also see no need to get my "head checked" simply because I am not as naive and myopic as you appear to be. I am not an apologist for behavior that is beyond the pale merely because the perpetrator appears on the big screen. I have worked with actors and do not view them as the demi-gods you and others seem to think they are. Such adulation does indeed fuel their behavior and gives them a sense of omnipotence. We need look no further than a Roman Polanski to see how far such adulation can extend. He DID rape a minor and is to this day forgiven by many in the industry because he is deemed a "great director".
Sorry, but I wont climb aboard the celeb-kiss-a$$ bandwagon -- it appears to be filled to capacity already. What I WILL do is reiterate (since it can't be said too often) that Bale 's behavior was boortish and unacceptable. He is an ego-driven lout who could not function in the REAL world if his life depended on it, since he would surely be fired himself for the creation of a hostile workplace and for verbal harrassment (that, or he would get his cowardly a$$ kicked by a real man). And if you honestly think this is the ONLY time that he has behaved this way, then I have a nice bridge you might be interested in purchasing. That level of psychotic rage does not occur in a vacuum. And if there were any questions remaining about what happened with his mother, his lunacy on this tape is certainly revelatory of what an economy-sized a$$ he is capable of being.
