Text Message Ignites Rihanna/Brown Violence

Chris Brown & RihannaLaw enforcement sources confirm to TMZ Chris Brown received a text message from a woman while he was driving with Rihanna and that's what started the confrontation that left Rihanna battered and bruised.

We're told the text message was from a woman who wrote about hooking up with Brown later.

We've also learned there is a reference in the police report to an argument over a rapper, but we've learned this is NOT what triggered the argument. The woman who text messaged Brown is not a rapper. The NY Daily News first reported the text message.

As for Rihanna's injuries, we continue to learn more. Cops took multiple pictures at the scene. Chris Brown allegedly hit Rihanna so hard with his fists, she could barely open her eyes for the photos -- they were almost completely swollen shut. She had a fat lip, her mouth was swollen, her nose was badly bloodied, and she had contusions on her forehead and both sides of her face.

46. This is what I think. I think when Chris was caught in his cheating ways by the text message, Rihanna probably wanted to break off the relationship. As always in circumstances like this, men who love their wives/girlfriends enough to not leave them but still hang on to their typical side dishes, the men get emotional with their partners want to leave them. I think he got soo mad that he hit her. You know, the typical "Baby! please don't go and I'm sorry!" and BOOOM! a smack to the face!
What I'm also mad about this situation is that he left her alone in the street with only her wounds to keep her comfort until the police arrived.

I was just wondering if she yanked the keys from the ignition can that be construed as a form of kidnapping and could it be possible that she started smaking him aftr he got the text and so the fight ensued. I realize that she was the one that got beat but no one has reales whether or not he has any signs of violance. Rhianna does not look like the type of girl thatis just going to sit there and take it. She also could have been the one that started swinging first. Of course what he did was very very wrong but we do not have all the details. Women have been known to abuse men! If you catch your man cheating I wonder what restraint you would show?

55. I do believe that there is two side' of this story, ..I am sure that Rihanna did something terrible which made Chris angry.. however, i agree of the fact that Chris should NOT have smacked her.. VIOLENCE is NEVER the answer..I must admit that I am a Chris Brown fan, big time ...but I hope that Rihanna and Chris would settle it peacefully.. mainly because I do not want to see Chris in jail,.! his life would be LONG GONE, ..because he is now facing 3-4 years in jail,. :'(
..they don't necessarily need to get back together, ..I understand Rihanna, she is upset, frightened and angry .. I would be 2, .

He's a rapper, all those guys rap about is drugs, "ho's" up in da club, violence and how big their rims are..., so he was going to cheat on her with this other chick, then he beat her ass... did anybody expect anything less?
