Ashanti claims if she were in Rihanna's shoes, she "doesn't know" if she would have called the police on the night Chris Brown allegedly beat her up. Hopefully, she'll never have to make that decision.

Thank you IRRESPONSIBLE MEDIA. There is nothing I hate more than one-sided journalism. I am not saying who's wrong or who's right. But both sides do need to be heard before demonizing one party. Now a man isn't supposed to hit a woman, There is too much space to walk away for that. But humans are born with fight or flight responses and if someone is attacking you --male or female-- usually flight isn't your first reaction. Chris snapped and 9 times out of 10, when someone does, there is a reason. If he's guilty, then by all means he should be punished. But we need to know if Ri Ri's hands were completely clean in this. There is a reason she is still texting him, missed him on her birthday and accepted an iPod as a peace offering. I have stopped speaking to guys for much less that what has happened here. That should let you know there are questions unanswered. I wish them both the best in their careers but I do hope this matter is treated justly.

Why is it turning into a thing of "dont call the police on your man no matter what?" We're supposed to just LET him do as he pleases even if we get HURT & BEAT UP in the process?

I personally wouldn't call the cops on a dude that put his hands on me....The 1st call I'd make is to one of my 6 brothers. They could do more damage than the law can. I'd get them 2 beat the balls off dude. Alot of ppl wouldn't agree with what I've just posted, but I'm saying what I would do in that situation!!!
