A-Roid -- Crocodile Tears?
Alex Rodriguez just apologized to his teammates for the nasty performance-enhancing drugs scandal he's now embroiled in -- but dude's quivering lip was distracting.

46. Hopefully the steriods will give him brain cancer and he will die.

47. The boys just LOOOVE those pink lips of his! What a fruit!

50. He's not even crying. You look at him attempt to cry, and he's like, "Ok, I think if I make this face." At one point he smiles and even A-Rod can't convince himself. He may be sorry, but ask A-Rod to give back the money he made while he was on Steroids and I bet he'd sing a different tune.

51. This must have been the worst acting job I have ever seen. The pause that went on for too long, the slight sip of water...it was all scripted and badly executed by the multi-millionaire steroid taking baseball player who was annointed to save the sport. You fooled many people once claiming that you were drug free...I really doubt that you will fool anyone again

52. I'm a Red Sox fan. I'm glad the Yankees got taken for a $275 million dollar ride. ha ha ha See you at Fenway A-Roid. AAAA-ROID, AAAA-Roid, AAAA-Roid, AAAA-Roid. I can hear it now.

53. I think a expression that would nicely encapsulate this press conference, and the whole situation, is "Alex Rodriguez is big time, no doubt, utterly full of ...it"

54. I never saw the entire press conference, but did see bits and pieces of it. All I kept hearing him say was "how sorry he is" and "he was young and stupid"..
Helloooo he isn't THAT young. To hear him speak intellectually sure he is all of TWELVE!! But your twenties can hardly qualify as an excuse to be "young and stupid"?? Especially on a matter such as this!! There is right, and there are obvious wrongs. This guy got caught up in the hollywood headlights! There are zero excuses for the actions he's obviously taken whole-heartedly! He should be required not only a huge financial penalty, but even jail-time.. community service!

55. BRAVO!!!! I think I smell an Oscar nomination!!! What'd this guy have to do to choke up those fake tears, think of Man-donna without her make up on??? Sheesh, I it took him FOREVER to build to that ever so dramatic moment! I guess I'd cry too if I realized I screwed up my marriage to a gorgeous woman, the mother of my children, because of some talentless skank who's proably got a fruitbowl tucked back somewhere...

56. I think someone needs to form a league just for players who take steroids. This way, they could stop lying to us and we would have the choice to spend our money with clean play or enhanced performances. I'm sick and tired of everybody using the "ignorance" factor for their cheating. It's really all about consience. You either have integrity or you don't. You're either greedy or not. It's so easy to "come clean" once you get caught. I didn't see any attempt from him to come clean last year when he was asked to. I guess, his pockets weren't full enough yet!

57. "Young and Stupid?" If the judging public buys into the phrase, I wonder if Manson will use it during his next parole hearing?

58. The only thing he is sorry about is that he got caught. Do you honestly think he would have told us otherwise? Once again, the worshiping of false idols, they will let you down everytime. So don't do it people! lol

59. As a Texan who watched A-Rod play, I REALLY DON"T GIVE A CRAP. LET IT GO.
A-Rod is still a great player and whoever leaked that report should be in jail and prosucted to the fullest extent of the law.
