The stock and housing markets have crashed, people are losing jobs by the thousands everyday. But now there is an undeniable marker of hard times: Part of The Donald has gone belly up.
Trump Entertainment Resorts Inc. filed for Chapter 11 this AM in a New Jersey bankruptcy court. The company had until today to reach an agreement with bond holders to restructure $1.25 billion in debt.
D.T. resigned from the board on Friday.

9. This is why America is falling apart. When Richy-Rich can't squeeze any more profit out of a business, he dumps it and we all pay. Then he starts over (again, with our money), makes another bag of money, declares bankruptcy yet again, and again we pay pay pay. Great system.

10. #9 Is so correct, this is exactly what these bog corporations do. When the CEO's are done milking the company, they go belly-up and have the government bail them out, and leaving stockholders bankrupt, because they have filed bankruptcy, and there isnt anything that can be done legally. The CEO/companies then re-group and start another venture and the system starts all over again. I personally think many companies are using the economy now, to let go of people and re-negotiate the wages of those that remain working. Grant it, the economy is bad, but when they start lowering the salaries of the CEO's, then it will seem more believable.
