22. Dena, it would be lovely to think people's reactions to Jackson were as simplistic as you stated. But they aren't. Michael Jackson was indeed one of the most talented entertainers we had during a certain point in music history. He put himself on top by his talent and then gave himself the title of 'King of Pop', which was rather egocentric, but not too much so that the public wouldn't allow it. But his downfall was caused by Michael Jackson, not the public. And when a majorly popular star begins a slide into the dark side, the public can sympathize and forgive to a point, and will give the benefit of the doubt for years if he still shows some redeeming qualities. Jackson was given a pass by most of the public for years, even after the first accusations of child sexual molestation became public. He paid millions to buy the silence of more than one accusor with credible and tangible evidence as to his sexual perversions. But long long story short, he felt he was entitled to continue doing whatever he wanted, legal or not, because he was Michael Jackson and he was above the law. The public finally had enough of Jackson's perversions and narcissism, and there is absolutely no one to blame for that except Michael himself. Everything that's happened to him since his halcyon days are the direct result of his own actions, and no amount of blaming it on the public will ever change that. He alone is responsible for the current public opinion about him. And unless someone's backyard is messy with male child sexual molestation materials and perversions, you don't need a clean backyard to see Michael Jackson clearly and state an opinion on him. He forfeited the right to benefit of a doubt long ago, and anyone who chooses to not wear rose-colored glasses when looking at him is well within their rights to do so. Delusion is no longer Michael's friend. He should be sitting in a prison somewhere, so should give thanks everyday that he isn't.

Dena - what 'mistakes' are you referring to? Drugging and raping children? Sorry - pedophilia is NOT a 'mistake' - it is a cancer that needs to be eradicated. No pedophiles=no wounded, injured children whose lives are totally messed up.

My definition of 'mistake' is accidentally locking your keys in your car, or forgetting to add some ingredient to a recipe you're cooking. The willful, deliberate drugging, torture and molestation is NOT a mistake.

The sooner he contracts some incurable disease and dies, the better off those 3 kids he's overseeing will be. Can you imagine having THAT monster / freak as a father figure. The kids are doomed and they don't even know it.

WOW. What a horrifying thing to say about anybody. Calm down, people. Jacko isn't a serial killer or Hitler. Of all the people you want dead, MICHAEL JACKSON?! The man who holds the Guiness Book of World Records title for most charitable pop star in the history of the world? The person who gave millions of dollars to over 40 charitable organizations worldwide and raised millions for poverty in Africa?! What are you smoking? Better yet, what have you done for the world lately????

Michael Jackson may not be perfect. None of us are. But to wish someone dead who has incited so much change in the world, most of which is positive, is rediculous and ignorant, not to mention a scary statement of your mindset.

As for charges of pedophilia, are you not amused that both accusers had parents who had criminal histories for suing people for false claims in the past? I am. What are the odds that the only two kids Jacko choses to molest after being exposed to millions of children over the years happen to be the two from criminal money fraud families? Keep reading National Enquirer. It's working for you.

Michael is also NOT broke, as evidenced by the fact that he's staying in a place right now that costs $10,000 a week to live in. He's not OctoMom, asking you to pay all his bills.

This man might have been an entertainer but to me he is a sexual predator and the only reason he walked is he knows how to pick the kids that come from poverty stricken homes, both of the family members of the two boys he molested were uneducated, and they thought he was just wonderful to be so kind to their sons and he also lavished gifts on them and instead in the trial that bottom feeding lawyer of his made that the whole focus, like the mother was a gold-digging shrew and after the trial some jury members regretted finding him not guilty and I am so glad this puke is going broke .The day he was found not guilty I said to a friend of mine that I hoped that he would go broke, and all his friends would turn against him and they have and he is. Elizabeth Taylor probably ran screaming, .No record label will touch him and as decrepit as he looks, he could not carry a tune .I hope he ends up so broke he is on food stamps, he should be sitting in the slammer right now and I am so tired of so called "stars" getting passes, that needs to change. He is a pedophile, no different than any one of them sitting in jail right now and Mark my Words, he will do again. I still think there are more victims out there, ones that will never come forward, I think two victims won't, two that are currently in the entertainment field, can you blame them? They spill their pain and anguish just to see him walk? He is a sick freak, his face is falling off his face!
