Are you a moron? Look at this women - Chris Brown didnt just point his little finger at her, he beat her up with closed fists. That is more than just "a mistake" - criminal battery.

As a former victim of Domestic Abuse - I think people need to see the truth and remember folks - the bruises you see on the outside are nothing compared to what this type of thing does to you emotionally. It's been over 20 years since I got out of my abusive situation but the emotional scars are still there - it never leaves you.

Doesnt matter if you think she 'provoked it'; doesnt matter if you think she 'deserved it'; the fact is, once you put your hands on someone and beat them to a bloody pulp, your a criminal, and you will go down for battery.

67. That doesn't even look like Rhianna, what supportive fans you all are, you don't even recognize her. The nose is much bigger than Rhiannas, the skin color is different, the eyes are shaped different, the eye brows are no where near the same shape, the lips are way bigger. This is not Rhianna, and if it was why did they take a picture with her eyes closed like an autopsy?!?! ......... No resemblance! And yeah it sucks the media is getting into their business non stop, NEWS flash people, thats part of being a celebrity and they both know that. People like us that read about this stuff or buy the magazines is why there is media in the first place, then you want to b*tch and gripe when they are involved when its not such a pretty picture.

70. I have to side with TMZ on this one. I understand privacy issues and all, but this has been front page news since Day 1 with every gossip site. I don't see how publishing the pictures were that much an invasion of privacy at this point. Information has been leaking since Day 1 from the police department. Internal affairs should have put an end to it since then if they were that concerned about Rihanna's privacy. Eonline.com states they choose NOT to publish photos BUT go on to say 'inside sources say Rihanna threw the first punch'------how are they any holier than TMZ by reporting that? At least TMZ is reporting things that are more beneficial to a victim of domestic violence than reporting things that make Rihanna look like an ass.

71. I've been a fan of the site and the show, but this is completely classless. This isnt Jessica Simpson and her fat ass, or Britney in a drunken stupor. This is a woman who was beaten viciously by someone who she thought loved her. This is my first post ever on this site and will be my last. I'll find somewhere else to get my celebrity gossip. TMZ has taken things to a new all time low
