How many black actresses have you seen with natural hair in a starring role? You can't answer that question, so keep your comments to yourself and save some embarrassment.

Alicia didn't need the wig since she usually wears her hair in a lovely way. I have no reason why she wore a wig.

74. For all of those who are ignorant enough to make comments about African-American hair and obviously don't know anything, braids done properly do not make you bald. This is coming from an African-American woman who wore braids my entire childhood and now has hair down. I am not bald nor have I ever been. On another note wearing weaves and wigs does not mean that African-American women do not want to represent their heritage. It simply means that we like to wear different hairstyles. I also must mention that plenty of Caucasian women wear weaves or extensions, so are they ashamed of their heritage.

I'm white and I will say that growing up my girlfriends and I would date all the black guys and and wish that we could do our hair in all those fancy braids. i don't see nothing wrong with appreciating another culture. To this day I botox and use lip plumper. Black women have the most beautiful lips.
