Beyonce Shoves It Down Etta's Throat

With just two little words, Beyonce re-ignited the world's biggest cat fight at the Oscars last night -- belting out the same song Etta James threatened to "whip Beyonce's ass" over just a few weeks ago.

Completely ignoring the verbal attack and physical threats Etta unleashed when B sang "At Last" at Obama's Inauguration, Knowles busted out the song AGAIN during last night's Oscar telecast -- as the most dramatic moment of an absolutely horrendous musical number.

B had to know it'd make James pissed, so we gotta ask ...

"At Last" is a 1941 song written by Mack Gordon and Harry Warren for the musical film Orchestra Wives, starring George Montgomery and Ann Rutherford. It was first performed in the film and on record by Glenn Miller and his orchestra, vocal by Ray Eberle and Pat Friday. The song was a major hit for Miller, reaching number 14 on the Billboard pop charts in 1942, and it soon became a standard. In 1960, it was covered by blues singer Etta James in a performance that improvised on Warren's melody.

50. If it was a diss, it was a pretty weak one, because she was singing along with a backing track to goose her vocals! WTF! Even the "High School Musical" kids managed to sing live.

51. I don't care who sings the song but let's face it, Beyonce is just mediocre. Come on now people you know it's true. She has slammed Aretha, then the entire Jackson family (which really was mean, she will never touch the genius of the Jacksons, why would she even think she could compare herself to them???), and now Etta. Really Beyonce is just a so-so singer and won't last like these legends have and her husband is a thug let's face it. After he rapped about the Bush's in a decidedly thug like way ....and black America just stayed silent( HUMMM).... I have lost all respect!

59. Over Beyonce...just plain over her. Lip syncing at the Oscars, how pathetic. She has been OVER-EXPOSED, and I believe that there is only ONE GOD, and she isn't it, though she thinks she it. Money doesn't buy class, no matter how expensive the clothes, jewelry, handbags, and cars, etc...you are who you are. And for those of you who are thinking "jealousy", wrong, I am quite well off, can afford luxury items, but I choose to but God before everything else and not live for the materials things I can buy, there is only so much you can buy...but God, family and heaven are forever, and when you put yourself above everyone else, I must feel sorry for that type of individual. So enough is enough of her! Let's all move onto someone with real talent and an abvious love for others not just herself.
