63. I don't care who wrote AT LAST, Etta James is FAMOUS INTERNATIONALLY FOR AT LAST AND MADE IT HER OWN. The only people makeing a big deal out of who wrote the song and other versions prior to ICONIC ETTA JAMES are stans are paid bloggers for Beyonce's mktg team. For them to say nasty things about Etta James when Beyonce's hooker and blow loving DADDY MATTHEW KNOWLES is no better. At least Etta is a living legend and EARNED HER PLACE IN HISTORY. She didn't beg to be an "ICON" She just is! The under 30 crowd are some of the most nasty and disrespectful, like Beyonce.

Anyhoo, Beyonce lip synced her performance and was nothing special. Her too tight costume and THUNDER THIGHS were a distraction.

64. I do not think Beyonce is fat, but she is one biscuit away from it. As for lip synching, have any of you tried running up and down stairs in heels, flinging yourself around on stage, twirling, and not being out of breath? I have sung & danced in college musicals and it is darn hard to do even when you are only 18. Maybe you don't like Beyonce because she has it all and you don't. It's called envy. Well, she can keep Jay-Zee.

66. I don't think she had a say in what she sang. She did make a movie this past year about Etta James, and I'm sure that was one of the reasons she sang it. Come on people quit trying to fan the fire. They are both talented women. Each in their own time frame. So eveyone should lighten up.

75. I notice there are almost three commercials using Etta James' version of "At Last" now. That shows you right there that Etta's version will forever be the definitive one, just like Nat King Cole's "Chestnuts Roasting..." or "It's A Wonderful World" by Louis Armstrong. Beyonce's voice does nothing for that song....its aint distinct and soulful enough like Etta's. I'm just telling the truth. Beyonce has a decent voice but it's forgettable and without personality or soul.

And yeah, she smirked and did "At Last" as a dig at Etta. Instead of rising above it, she just had to go there. She is not the class act that I thought she was, I see. What goes around comes around, though. Two wrongs don't make a right. That's why Beyonce ended up on the "Worst Dressed" and "Worst Performance" lists LOLOL!!!

I hope Etta gets a tribute show and she asks Christina Aguilera, Adelle and others to sing her songs.
