J.Lo and Marc -- Giant Lawsuit Over Baby Stroller

Jennifer Lopez & Marc AnthonyJennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony are suing the pants off a stroller company after the singers suddenly wound up in a baby carriage advertisement without being asked first.

It's all over a picture of J.Lo and Marc pushing their twins in a Silver Cross stroller -- the company allegedly took the photo and used it in an ad without asking permission.

In the suit, filed yesterday in L.A. federal court, the power couple is demanding $5 million for their trouble citing their "substantial commercial value."

The duo is also seeking a permanent injunction against any further use of their names or images in the company's advertising and any money they made from the ad.

16. No, it is totally valid for them to sue. Otherwise companies would make money on this all the time and use celebrities to sell their products. It's definitely a good reason to sue them as companies have no business profiting on celebrities like this.

18. Is BIG_GHOTI going to attack JLO and Skelator's kids? Well, yes he is. JLo and Marc took great pains to conceal/defraud the public that Queen Cellulite was pregnant. The media created a tremendous BUZZ about this despite the fact that she was clearly in her third trimester. Why not admit to being pregnant? Because now they could possibly get Brangelina money for the twins pics. Certainly a status symbol amoungst egotistical celebrities. The only problem is that the twins are REAL REAL ugly. Are all babies cute? NO. These two are exceptionally unattractive and the genetics proved true. Whoever paid for the first pics had to be horribly disappointed. The only source of income in the future for the female twin will be a shot on "America's Next Top Model" (R) now there's some hideous skanks on that show. Have a nice day JLO and Marc.

20. Their poor little boy looks like Charlie Brown and the girl isn't much better. Who would use them for publicity when there are so many cute kids out there?

21. I always knew J.lo was crazy and money hungry, but 5 million for a picture just crosses the line, I guess they are not making any money from the entertainment industry anymore. I dont get why the company would use J.lo's baby tho, she is just so yesterday. the company should have used Tom and katie's or Brad and Angelina's.

23. The law pretty much requires them to sue. If you don't protect your copyright you lose it. Then their image will be available to any one for any product. It amazes me that in this day and age that there are still companies that try to pull a fast one. They need to sue for a lot and the judge needs to award it to them. It needs to be enough to seriously hurt the company or they and others will keep doing it.

24. What a couple of whiny bitches. Whatever happened to sending a "Cease & Desist" letter? But noooo, they have file a fat lawsuit for a ton of money. As if they don't have enough.

25. So business's are going through a tough time,....and laying off staff left right and center....suing a company for that much in this market is ridiculous and selfish. She should ask for a small amount ($50,000) and give it to charity. She can't need the money...so it much be just on the principle of the thing, maybe she can think of the employees of that company and how this lawsuit could effect them.

26. Yes, the law requires them to sue. Yes, what the company did was illegal. But come on...$5 mil? That is excessive, unless their lawyers can prove the company sold $5 mil. worth of strollers thanks to that photo, or if they were going to donate that money to a worthy cause. Other than that...excessive.

29. OH PLEASE..DO they really have to sue in this horrible recession. All they have to do is to tell the company to stop using the picture for advertising and Im sure they will stop. She's such a dumb greedy bitch and he's an ugly cheating skeleton. They should be happy that somebody wants a picture of those two ugly ass babies. God forgive me but those kids are UGLY as HELL!! Yikes...
