48. Could this "Study" have anything to do with the fact that majority of the time black people like black music and white people like white music? And that this study was done by some racist white people? Complete bull crap. People that don't understand Lil Wayne's music are dumb themselves. They (whites) think it's garbage because they are to stupid to understand the metaphors and double entendre in his music. So kick rocks you idiots! And TMZ put this up on purpose to start a race war. Todays rap is geared more towards Pop music, not "gangsta" rap. Your argument would have been valid in the 90's, but most Hip-Hop artists are going for a more commercial/radio friendly sound these days. Lil Wayne is NOT in the gangsta rap category at this point in his career. His upcoming release is geared more towards rock than it is Hip-Hop, believe it or not. It seems like the majority of people insulting rap music and it's listeners really have no idea what their talking about. If you are going to insult something, you should be VERY familiar with the topic, otherwise, you just make yourself look ignorant.

50. Well, I guess this wouldn't be racist huh? Even though Wayne, Beyonce and TI are black. Funny how I have a Masters Degree and I listen to their music not caused I'm stupid, but because it has a nice beat. Funny too is that I am black and I also listen to other genres of music. Here's one for ya, I bet octomom and her stupid ass doesn't listen to those three artist either, but you probably wouldn't catch a black person getting IVF to have 14 kids.....dumbasses!

See, this is JUST as stupid as all the other uninformed comments. The "study" was just an attempt (a lousy one at that) to somehow correlate musical taste with intelligence. And guess what, I'm white, so you saying that all white people are too stupid to understand the metaphors is insulting. Starting a "race war". Get your head out of your ass. 52. I am an engineer and soon-to-be medical student and I listen to Lil wayne. Some of Wayne's lyrics take a fair amount of intelligence to follow and understand. I think its absolutely ridiculous to assume that the type of music one listens to either adds or subtracts to their intelligence, except for the case of Hansen, I think we can all agree there. Thugs dont study and thugs listen to Wayne, maybe thats a statistically meaningful conclusion, but deductive reasoning cant be applied to being retarded just because you bump waynes beats.
