Lil' Wayne Linked to Stupid People

61. First of all, most music produced in this day and age is terrible; it does not matter if the entertainer is black or white, it's still bad. I say entertainer, because these people are not competent in their musicianship and do not create art. Second, I hate hearing the phrase "I got a degree and listen to Lil' Wayne", this is not a real argument. If you actually did go to college, you would understand that this is anecdotal information and should not be taken at face value. Real arguments are based on empirical evidence. Third, for all of you that think Lil Wayne has a substantive character, because he raps about his soc-called reality, you are idiots. This man can barely articulate his thoughts in cogent sentences and I am pretty sure he has probably never read a book in his life. Lastly, I do not understand why this is turning into a race issue; stupid people of all races listen to bad music.

Actually, I have always found Counting Crows' lyrics pretty meaningful and deep if you look beyond the surface, othern than the silly, catchy song they composed for "Shrek" ("Accidentally in Love"). Duritz may be fugly, but he is intelligent.

Regardless if Lil'Wayne was black or white, the guy is an idiot, albeit a rich one, who can barely speak correct English and has stupid gangster rap lyrics! Although gangster rap usually contains stupid, misogynistic & violent lyrics by uneducated black rappers, they could just as easily be performed by stupid white rappers. The kids that listen to their crappy, violent, female trashing lyrics think it is alright and correct to speak like their idiotic rappers, black or white.

74. Meh. My ivy league phd classmates who listen to Lil' Wayne would seem to prove him wrong... Griffith is smart, but it's a huge and premature overstatement to call him "one of the smartest computer people on the planet." Quite simply, he's not. Yet. This is just another one of his sexy research pieces that gets attention but which uses flawed data to prove a hypothesis to support a completely disconnected theoretical point. If the Santa Fe Institute has anything to do with it he'll grow up and produce something incredible one of these days that will save us from his half baked sophomoric 'research.'

Wow. I'm going to have to say this study is pretty close to reality. Oh, and for those who say "I like both, so your study is RONG" - i'm pretty sure it didn't imply that that this is 100% true for everyone. Dur.
