McNutt to Cops: "McNuggets Are an Emergency!"

Latreasa GoodmanThere's a reason this woman is wearing a serious grimace on her face -- she was just arrested over a box of Chicken McNuggets!!

Here's how it all went down: Latreasa Goodman claims she ordered -- and paid -- for a box of some delicious nuggets at a Mickey D's in Florida over the weekend, when suddenly the unthinkable happened -- she was told there were no more nuggets to be had. When an employee told her it was against store policy to give refunds, Latreasa called 911 -- three times in a row.

When the cops got to the scene, they tried to explain that McNugget drama is not an emergency -- but according to the police report obtained by TheSmokingGun.com, Latreasa begged to differ:

"This is an emergency, If I would have known they didn't have McNuggets, I wouldn't have given my money, and now she wants to give me a McDouble, but I don't want one. This is an emergency."

But here's the rub: Even after cops cited her for "misuse of 911," Latreasa continued to tell cops, "This is an emergency, my McNuggets are an emergency."

FYI -- the mug shot in this post is from a previous arrest. We're guessing Der Wienerschnitzel ran out of chili.

36. What she should have done is stood there and not moved until she got her money back. And called corporate while standing in the line. If that would have failed, I would have called a lawyer and sued. I mean, if people can win lawsuits for getting what they order, she should definitely be able to get a few million for blatent theft.

Maybe she should learn to make her own McNuggets, from scratch. It's easy, it's healthy, it's cheap, and it's delicious!

38. I can't understand why everybody's making fun of this girl because she was robbed. McD's should have told her they didn't have what she wanted when she ordered it and definately before they took her money. That's not an unrealistic expectation (all restaurants do it). If they didn't know until after they took her money, they should have apologized and gave her her money back. That policy was there to prevent people from abusing the system. This was a blatant mistake on their part, having nothing to do with the refund policy (refund implies that they actually got something). Without product exchanging hands, there is no deal, so there would be a return, not a refund. Calling the police was the right thing to do. Maybe she was a little out of line with her attitude but she was justifiably angry. Besides, who else would she call? She could have went crazy and busted the joint up but instead she called the police.

On the other hand, it is pretty funny that this black girl was going crazy for her chicken.

41. While the woman overreacted, she was quite right. It McDonald's didn't have what she wanted they should give her back her money. Fair is fair. How do they get away with keeping it? That's ridiculous one of the world's richest corporations has to cheat this poor woman out of her hard-earned dough.

43. Who eats at McDonalds any more? Tons of people. Its one of the few companies these days with a growing business and those things called profits.

If you go to an independent franchise store they do sometimes have no refund policies but usually it applies only if you get the food then try to give it back and ask for a refund. Most employees of fast food joints arent rocket scientists to begin with, so they probably though no refund meant no refund period.

In any case abusing 911 like that is crazy. She deserves to be in jail.
