Amy Winehouse Charged with Assault

If cops are showing up at Amy Winehouse's home ... then it must be Friday!

The ever-troubled singer was charged today for allegedly assaulting a fan during an incident last year. Wino allegedly smacked around a woman who had the audacity to ask Amy for her picture.

She'll be back in court March 17.

16. hey that was like the 3rd person she punched that month and headbutted another man , I wouldnt have asked her for a pic but this chick asked for one got it and then another and after the 2nd she asked for yet another pose with Amy , I would smack a bitch around too LOL I love her

18. haha Amy Winehouse has problems. Smacking down a FAN is just taking it to another level of crazy. yea, i agree she deserves those assault charges.
