Mystery Woman in Brown/Rihanna Case Revealed

331. Up until reading this post, the story I'd continued to read about had them in his car, her reading this three page text on his phone, and then... The next thing you know he's beating her. I'd always suspected a step was missing. This is the first news I've read that indicates that she participated in, perhaps even initiated the violence by "slapping him and hitting him". No one ever deserves to be injured like she was, but it took TWO people for this incident to transpire. Simply because she is a "weaker" female in no way excuses her battery - and it is battery if this report is true. None of this is to excuse his hitting her. But he was hit, too. Before we condemn him, though, ask yourself how you would react if someone was "slapping and hitting" you? This is a very black and white, polarized culture we live in where we insist on finding one party completely guilty and the other completely innocent, when the truth almost always lies in between. Is Chris Brown guilty of beating Rihanna or of defending himself? Was she justified in hitting him? Is he simply guilty of being stronger than her? Should he have "been a man" and just accepted the slapping and hitting? I wouldn't want to rule on this case. I can pretty much guarantee you, though, that if we all had been there to witness the entire episode, we'd probably all have a different view of the matter. If these had been two men, one initiated the violence, the second defended himself violently and won the fight, there would be two charges of battery and a very ruling in the court of popular opinion.

333. There is a difference between an aggressor and an abuser. Rhianna like most women can be aggressive and in this case you can't blame her after finding out that he is screwing a woman the age of his mom. Brown is an abuser like most men who know they can always abuse a woman and get away with it! It's a chronic, deadly thing when it comes to an insecure, immature man like him.

334. Yes women should be able to hit, beat, claw, strike, kick, and kill men. And men should be able to do nothing, that is fair. Who cares if someone is trying to beat you while you drive a car, if you're a man take the beating and don't do anything. Because women are ALWAYS the victim they can do NO WRONG!!!!!!! I'm SERIOUS.

337. Women can be arrested for Domestic Assault as well as men. When Rhianna hit Chris, he should've stopped his car, took his keys, got out of the car and CALLED THE POLICE AND HAD HER ARRESTED. Simple as that.

I don't believe in men beating women for any reason, but women need to learn to keep their hands to themselves too. Chris is not a monster and I have been highly critical of his actions. He is a young man who made a horrible mistake and is having to learn from it the hard way. Villanizing Chris and other young men pertaining to this matter doesn't help - it only makes them more combative. This is a teachable moment and I hope the Courts order him into Anger Management. Rhianna needs some counseling too.
