DJ AM Wants a Cool $20 Mil in Jet Crash

DJ AMWe've just obtained new documents in DJ AM's lawsuit against the company that booked the jet that crashed. The surviving passenger wants $20 million -- minimum.

The way it breaks down, DJ AM wants at least $10 mil in damages for medical bills, lost earnings and profits and other economic damages. And he wants another $10 mil for mental and physical pain and suffering and other "non-economic losses."

121. First of all, I am sure all of you who have hoped he dies or wished he would have, have taken a good look in the mirror after saying that about someone you do not know. He and Travis were so very lucky to have survived that horrifying crash. The burns they sustained were extremely painful and they are still undergoing surgeries because of them. Not to mention the pain of watching people they loved die. And yes, the victims families have also sued, and deserve every penny the get. How such hateful people could post such nasty things about Adam, who by all accounts is a loving and caring man, I do not understand. But I guess that is why you live in your parents basement and he has a career.

122. It is really interesting how #120 and #121 are so quick to defend...they must be sleeping with him. The bottom line is this. Every person will go through some kind of tragedy in their life and some tragedies will be more horrific then others but what is important is how the person handles the tragedy. One of my parents died because of the negligence of a doctor but I never thought of suiing for money. I did however make sure the medical board handled the situation to my satisfaction so that no other patient would suffer the way I did. Money cannot heal a persons soul. The type of person who sues for money is damaged at their very core. It is sad that AM is this type of person. He must be very insecure who thinks that if he has enough money or enough things or enough friends that he will feel better. For those of you who say he is a nice person, fine, I believe you. But it is not important what you think or what I think about him....it is only important what he thinks of himself and this lawsuits says alot about how he feels. Personally, I know for a fact that if I walked away from what he did I WOULD NOT SUE FOR MONEY! It would be a life changing experience and I would make sure that every day my actions would display my deep gratitude for the second chance that alot of people never get. This is a perfect of example of how being a "nice" person just isn't enough. Adam must be a very lost soul....

123. Adam deserves it. He experienced a horrific event, because the jet carrier was negligent.
He used to live on a airplane and travel to gigs all around the world.
Now he only takes gigs if he could drive or travel by land. That must be hard!
