I know Dean and wouldn't wish this on anyone but you seem so convinced he will win his appeal? Do you even know what percentage appeals get over turned? You talk about the D.A. like she is the one that had a gun and robbed the bank? On top of that, you mention her family and because she has money, she will drop everything just to screw your son. Being an adult and a parent is taking accountablity not trying to make a buck because he went to prom with a crack addict.Time to work up Dean'sMOM and deal with the reality of this, not only did he screwed himself, he screwed you, and most importantly his SON. Now, his son has to grow up for the next 8 years without a father, without financial support, without guidance, now thats pathetic and as a mother you should be ashamed. You stated he has access to 140k and all it takes is a month, so is it safe to assume he will give a large portion of that to his son?

35. It is sad concerned mother, when a mother think something is funny while her son is sitting in prison. I am sure she is trying to make light of the situation but you need to chose your words wisely. My age concerned mother is 34 and I have a daughter and couldn't imagine not seeing my kid for 8 years. I could somewhat relate if he was homeless and trying to put food on the table for his kid but if this was for drugs and he actually did do this, then he is sicker then I thought.You hit it right on when the mother is trying to make a name for herself and profit off of this beyond stupid idea to rob a bank inside a grocery store. You have to have a half a brain to realize if you going to prison for robbing a bank then why not rob a real bank. At no point am I saying do either or but makes not sense. I think the thing that aggravates me is, her putting the blame on everyone else, the judge, the d.a., the jury, the d.a.'s parent because they have money and her making a website name fergieex? If she saw what she said on tmz she wouldn't mention her name because she called him a LOSER. People would be more heartfelt if you came out and said he did it, he screwed up, I don't agree with it and hopefully by the end of this he will be a better person and better father. Finally the light bulb came on for you. This lady sees a potential opportunity to make a buck off of her son's idiocy, and she will try any angle.

FOR THE RECORD, the woman was never a member of Law Enforcement. She WAS in the L.A. P.D's Police Academy, that is, until she got thrown out for a particular reason, which I won't elaborate upon.

She then sued, and was awarded a lump of money for her effort. She wasn't re-instated into the academy though.

From that point on apparently, she found that suing, FOR ANY REASON, was a pretty easy way to make a buck, and has filed a few other successful lawsuits over the years.

The reason I am telling you this Brett, is simply because in all probability, she will sue The Fed's, The State, The Judge, The Prosecution, and EVEN her own sons lawyer, along with anyone, and everyone whom she deems a potential target, for yet another payday.

Probably TMZ is in line also, for allowing this thread, and individuals who say anything to denigrate her, or her boy, may also be in her cross hairs.

Don't believe me? Just sit back, wait and watch.

37. I suggest one of Dean's assumably blind family members get him a rock hammer and a poster of racquel welch once he settles into his new residence. Red and I have been following this case at my beach front hotel in Mexico and cannot believe anyone that looks at that picture can say it's definitely not him. Red is sitting to my side as I write this and just made a guess that this Dean guy probably got away with everything during his upbringing. The display of completely irrational behavior by certain family members of Dean almost has Red and myself wanting to come out of hiding to try and talk some sense into this Dean's mom character. As you all know Red and I are very compassionate people and do hope Dean's mom will be realistic and stop with this whole charade that is a complete waste of time.

38. In reading the comment about Dean's mom being at the LAPD police academy. She probably was let go because she couldn't pass the psychological tests!!!! She needs to be locked up.

I was wondering about the money too - where is that $140,000 that he could "get his hands on" in a month. Is his son being supported by Dean at all?

I thought Dean wasn't going to appeal this decision because of all his past transgressions? I'm confused, is anyone else? Are all the family members crazy? Are there brothers and sister?

Where is the money he stole? Or "someone" stole? What about the drugs they found on him, isn't that a punishable crie too? Are they going to try him for that?

It really does show doesn't it? Yet, I don't remember her not passing the psyche tests, and it is a bit too late to lock her up, since her son's formative years are but a nightmarish memory for him now. And the results of his long term exposure to her madness can easily be discerned, thank his present situation.

I have never been one to ascribe to the "fashionable" excuse of today, that a person's past set them up for their present problems. But in this case? I will admit, there just be may be an argument to be had re: his upbringing, or lack thereof of the same, and his travels to date.

I was around his mom many times, years back, and although first appearances can be deceiving as a rule, MY first impression of her, even as young as I was, was the one that makes some people think:

"There but for the Grace of God, go I."

He has brother's and sister's, but so far as where they are, and how they have turned out, I couldn't say. He has uncle's, who had their moment's of indescretion years back, but far as I know, they have grown up, and become, well---GROWNUPS! His one aunt? Near as I had seen, when you looked at her, you could see his mother's influence shining through.

I worked with Dean and his dad a few times, and I noticed that their relationship was like peers, or even buddies, more so than father and son. His father was a character, but he was fair with me, and treated me with respect. I haven't seen, nor heard of him for a good many years now, so where he is, or what he is up to, I haven't a clue.

There are crazy great uncle's and even crazier grandmother's in the mix also, so just maybe, environment did play a very large part in his troubles.

In the immediate present, so far as his mother goes, she means well I think, but it has always been an ever changing vista within her mind. What she thinks, or truly believes today, is subject to change tomorrow.

Maybe it is all tied to moon cycles?

41. Dean is the scum of the earth! This guy has no sense of reality, and after reading his mom's comments you can see why!
His nickname amongst "friends" was "Dirt Bag Dean". He's a worthless tweaker that ruined the life of everything and everyone he ever came in contact with. His kid is lucky this piece of crap is locked up and behind bars. With any luck Dean will get gang raped, beaten, and sold amongst inmates as the "fresh fish"! 8 years of torture and abuse won't begin to make up for all the wrong this guy has done in the past, but its a better start than just 2 years. This idiot could have taken a sweetheart deal and only done 2 years. But crack pot mommy believed in her baby scum bag so much, they decided they'd just keep up the charade. From what I see on the other sites, the mother makes her email address available to anyone. She said that there was no evidence other than a resemblence to the bank robber. Those of you commenting...did you attend the trial? What evidence did you hear the prosecution present? Did they find the clothes? The money? The gun? DNA? Dye? How many people identified him and under what circumstances? What was the concrete evidence? Did you see the woman that was just released from prison after 7 years? Five people identified her as the bank robber. They released her ONLY after the real bank robber confesed. How will you feel if this happens in his case? Bet you'll feel like a big piece of s---! You people seem very hateful and I personally feel that you have a hidden agenda. I cannot think of another explanation other than it is not the mother's family that is insane. 45. If Concerned Mother. Bingo, Red (hiding from the law-did you rob a bank?), Concerned Dad, Concerned Mom, Brett are telling the truth, why use a goofy name? Why not post your email address like his mom does? Afraid she'll know who you are and hunt you down? She sounds like a hellcat and could probably do some damage to people who mess with her cub. All of you seem a bit too evil...like you have a hidden agenda...or could be the same person using different names. If something tragic ever happens to me, I hope my mom believes in me the way that she believes in her son.
