The L.A. City Attorney has also charged Don Crowley, Kanye's manager, with the following crimes -- two counts of vandalism, two counts of battery and two counts of grand theft.

TMZ happened to catch the incident on tape. In fact, Kanye broke our camera light as we were shooting. Crowley is charged with breaking both the TMZ camera and the still camera. Kanye is charged with breaking the flash accessory to the still camera.

The incident occurred last September 11. Both men are scheduled to be arraigned on April 14.

Kanye could get up to 2 1/2 years in jail if convicted on all counts. Crowley could get five years.

181. ...Don't blame him???????? Have you lost your mind?? He needs to be locked up. He acts like a common jerky thug. Guess what.....have ya heard????? It's no longer cool to be violent. Hopefully he will get the same treatment that Mr. Brown is getting these days. And, BTW.....after hearing him on American Idol the other night...we need to turn our backs on that! When he can't sound any better than that without all his "electronic enhancement"...it's time ta go.

182. you can't even tell from the video that it is even him at least I didn't see his face well all I saw was a man in a grey hooded sweatshirt trying to walk down the stairs and got tangled up in some guy's camera cord and he was just trying to untangle himself. It's not a very good video. TMZ you should be taping real crimes that leave real victims behind, with more than just monitary losses and hurt ego because they did not get the picture they were hoping to get of another guy just trying to get on a plane. Who cares; you need something better to worry about take all your cameras and report on sexual offenders, murders, the mentally ill who comitt crimes and get away with it. I really don't care about the rapper who gets on a plane to do what he does for work or fun, I'm sure nobody cares what I do for work or fun. I really don't blame him for swatting at the camera, because just like flies that annoy you in your face you will swat at them and some times you miss and sometimes you squash them. But that is the risk the fly takes when it chooses to annoy a human.

184. I thing the pappers should haunt his every movement. If he goes outside in public there should be at least dozens of cameras flashing and recording. Teach that asshole a lesson!!

185. I would probably break the camera too.
:L
But then again, why would they follow me?
He wont go to jail he will get away with it.
I do think that it is kind of unfair that stars can get away with anything really.
But then again Kanye needs to keep making awesome music for us:)
I think people should be worrying about better things than Kanye West breaking some
Jack asses camera. Their are Children starving and animal cruelty going on... why should we worry about this?

187. We have to see what were the exact facs, cuz' the paparazzi can be a real pain. And I'm with Kanye West (He's not an artist that I like much I might say) in the part that laws have to be created to protect the people from been photographed or filmed without permission. Paparazzi cause more damage to celebrities (physical and psychological) than celebrities cause to them. Let's put ourselves in West's shoes, what would you do if your privacy are constantly interrupted and violated? You would get mad, angy, furious. West is a short-tempered guy but his space was violated as I said by this paparazzi (Why they exist because of the media that buy their material).

189. Yes, he really should be convicted. Even "big" superstars have to be put in their places. And besides, he had it coming. With all this and his blown up ego. I'm surprised this is all the gets!

191. I don't blame celebrties for breaking cameras that are shoved in their faces on a daily basis. What does the media expect? I love looking a tabloids but now I think I might cut back becasue the things I love to read and look at cause these people a lot of trouble.

194. The #10 post on here made me laugh out loud!

"POOPSI" (which, in and of itself is a HILARIOUS screen name, if you want to be taken seriously, of course) said:

"TO REDNECK RIVERBOY, I,M SURE YOU HAVE A RECORD TO YOUR CRIME WOULD, HAVEING A IQ OF SPLIT PEA YOU LONELY LIFE CLOWN".

AH HAHAHA!

There are *so* many friggin' mistakes in that reply, that I *would* consider aforementioned split-pea to write it better; and yet s/he (or he-she perhaps?) questions the intelligence of the other person's post, who clearly has no problem spelling or using the English language.

So, to summarize, dear, dear, POOPSI, in "a" languages I hope yous can get from you would: I hoped never encounter *you* crime would. "Haveing" "A" IQ larger than yous is just two muches two bare. I,M Thankes yous from mys bottum off mys heartz.
