Dane Cook's Bro Indicted for Stealing Comic Blind

Dane CookDane Cook's half brother has been indicted by a grand jury for allegedly stealing millions from the "comedian."

Darryl McCauley was charged with eight counts of larceny over $250, forgery and larceny by continuous scheme. According to prosecutors, McCauley once forged a $3 million check written from Cook's account to himself.

McCauley allegedly pulled off the scheme while Dane paid him $12,500 a month to be his personal business manager.

McCauley has denied any wrongdoing.

21. I don't know whose representing the brother, but I think the defense is obvious: "impossibility." Just play five minutes of Cook's "Vicious Circle" and I defy you to find one member of the jury who will believe Cook was able to earn "millions" for that coma-inducing crap he calls "comedy."

His shows suck they usually consist of something like:

*make strange noises with mouth near the microphone
*run back and forth on the stage after making a "joke"
*do baby talk babble and ham it up for cheap laughs
*tell no joke or story that actually makes the audience laugh
*repeat


Guess you and Kevin Bacon should go on tour now----one was ripped off by the real Madoff, the other by a brother who should be named Madoff

30. I find it impossible to feel the least bit sorry for Dane Cook. In fact, the irony here is beautiful. Dane's been stealing jokes from real comedians for years, so now someone steals something from Dane, and all I can do is laugh at the irony. Karma... it's a beautiful thing.

The karma circle would be complete if someone would steal something from Carlos Mencia, since he's an even bigger theif of material. Well, one can only hope.
