TMZ has obtained the mugshot of former first round NFL draft pick-turned-Detroit Lions mega-bust, Charles Rogers.
Rogers -- the #2 overall pick in the 2003 draft -- was sentenced to 30 days in the slammer yesterday (with 15 days credit for time served) for violating the terms of his probation in a domestic violence case.
Court records show the 27-year-old, who signed a $55 million contract with the Lions back in the day, tested positive for alcohol and falsified records showing he attended AA classes.
Rogers was a wide receiver before he got locked up -- no word if he'll change his position before he gets out.

These sports stars better start watching "Eastbound and Down" They are going to end up broke and trying to get back in professional sports like Kenny Powers (Danny McBride, who I must say is too damn funny)
{ Why is it these athletes and actors think they can get away with violence to women? Then if us women fight back, we are the ones that end up in jail for fighting back with whatever means we have to protect ourselves? }
Dont forget, Rogers had 2 TDs in his 1st ever NFL game. He could have been the next Randy Moss. The guy had a ton of ability.....Instead he is a drunken druggie that hits women.......
I must be the only person to have the balls to point this out but,...Have you all noticed that in the last number of years every single time there is a problem with somebody in the sports or entertainment industry, that person happens to be a bl--k male?
This especially holds true if it happens to involve violence and blatant out-and-out no excuse for it crime.
I know, I know...It's my fault not theirs.
For a Detroit Lions fan (yes, I admit it), this is just another sad page in the story of the Lions. It was such a glorious day when he was drafted and then the proverbial S**T hit the fan. Too bad, he was great in college and could have been something even greater in the NFL.
Man this is sad...a talented dude who will not get the chance to show what he can do in the world...There seems to be alot of people in trouble with the police lately. 99problems.org is talking specifically about police brutality today and how to change it. Worth checking out!
too bad. he couldve been amazing in the NFL. now he is a straight up loser.
