Celebrity Justice
Bye Bye, T.I.

T.I.T.I. is going to the pokey for a year and a day.

An Atlanta federal court just sentenced the 28-year-old rapper on federal weapons charges related to buying machine guns and silencers.

16. Well I agree he did step up and he did do community service and he helped disadvantaged folks. However, I'm sure his documentary show on MTV came with a big fat paycheck. I have no idea what prison he's going to. I do wonder if he'll be segregated from the regular population, I'd think because of his celebrity status he'd almost have to be. Who knows if he'll even do a year and a day, it's possible to be released for good behavior, I don't know the terms of his sentence. Anyway, why didn't you let the guards pack the heat T.I.? Good luck.

18. Why is everyone so happy he helped kids out...he ONLY did that because he got caught and was trying to look good before he went to the judge. how can you have sympathy for the man. he is/was guilty of a crime and now has to serve his penalty. Maybe if he wasnt buying guns and helping kids intially i'd feel different about him.

26. It truly sad to read an outpouring of sadness for a disgusting, piece of $#!t like this thug. Your support mirrors your ignorance and goes far in explaining what the problems in todays society are.

27. It's nice that he did all that work for 'Kids', but the truth is that he never would've done any of that if he hadn't been arrested for the ASSAULT RIFLES & SILENCERS.

Those are the kind of weapons & tools that are used to KILL PEOPLE. If anything, his sentence should've been much longer seeing as how he was working his way up to premeditated murder.

29. why was he buying these crazy weapons? what was the purpose? if it was to make a profit, i don't get it, because he's got his own money from rapping/acting. i just don't understand why he would risk all this for some guns.

30. Yet again, TMZ has provided us all another fine example of a black role model. Someone, anyone please take a stand to get this "community" of the black race back on some sort of path of civility to stop the total destruction of this country by their animal like behaviors and total lack of respect for others.
