Celebrity Justice
"Dr. Phil" Shoplifters -- eBay Entreprenuers

It looks like eBay could also stand for electronic black market -- because the couple who confessed to being professional shoplifters on "Dr. Phil" just happen to have sold a TON of stuff on the website.

Dr Phil

An eBay account connected to the address of Matthew Eaton -- whose house was raided after he and his wife appeared on "Dr. Phil" -- shows an unbelievable 628 positive feedbacks (and only 1 negative) on items sold in the last year.

During Matt's filmed shoplifting trip on "Phil," he guessed he had stolen around $700 of "mostly Lego stuff" -- and there just happens to be, coincidentally, a ton of Lego stuff sold on this eBay account... over $5,000 worth in March alone.

16. People get away with way to much. However, in this case it looks like justice caught up to them. I'm not sure why they thought it would be a good thing to admit to this on national television. I do know that sometimes crooks are just plain dumb. Thanks, Dr. Phil, crimefighter extraordinaire.

18. At least they are not scamming ebayers. And TMZ, they have one neutral feedback, which is not the same thing as a negative feedback. Please ask someone who is actually active on Ebay before posting erroneous information.

19. I saw the episode.
Why did they go on the show? Dr Phil asked them the same question-.
and their answer? - That they (especially the man/mastermind) were sick of the stealing lifestyle, but addicted to the easy money, and the only way they felt they could stop was to get caught by putting themselves on blast..

22. TO BLOGGER # 11, IT'S IMPOSSIBLE TO LOVE JANET JACKSON IF YOU'RE FROM ATLANTA BECAUSE ATLANTA IS FULL OF "DOWN LOW" PEOPLE.

ANYWAY, GOOD JOB DR. PHIL...

MORE CRIMINALS OFF OUR AMERICAN STREETS. EXCELLENT.

23. Come on, everyone knows that e-bay, yard sales , pawn shops, and flea markets are just ways to fence stolen property. If we really wanted to stop the real big time criminals from stealing fromus we would call for an investigation into our own poloticians. They are stealing us blind, stimulas, bailouts, taxes, the soon to be coming climate tax (cap & trade), etc..................................................................................................... But hey they are smart enough to get away with it under so called law. Not the constitution though, but who will enforce that old document?

24. Well, he took his "job" seriously for awhile is which is more than most entrepaneurs do. But what a dumb move to go on TV. If you're gonna be a crook...at least be a good one.
Ebay has become iffy...more often than not you don't find a good dealt there anymore. People have gotten greedy and I've seen stupid people bid up and pay way more than you can buy the item new online elsewhere. Especially if you add in shipping.
What's the old addage? There's a sucker born every minute.
