63. Rock by design is not supposed to be conservative or safe - it's loud, raucous, over the top, in your face, with dashes of showmanship thrown in for good measure. It's exciting, and is equal parts camp and high drama when it's firing on all cylinders... Lambert has all the ingredients to fill this bill, .. Name me some relevant or kick ass "conservative, reserved" rockers past or present, and I'll reconsider. The best frontmen in rock are all about projecting a fierce persona of bravado and abandon - what was reserved about Freddie Mercury, David Bowie, Marc Bolan, David Johannsen (NY Dolls), Billy Idol, Jim Morrison, Robert Plant, to name a few... Lambert could slide into those ranks easily, and sell a lotta records with the right material, and band backing him... his charisma guarantees that he will be able to grab your interest, hold it, and give you one hell of a performance. There is this one big "$" flashing above Adam's brilliant head...
