32. What was the point of calling them birthmothers? This term is one used expressly in the Adoption Triad. A birthmother is one who has lost her child to adoption. NOT one who's raised their child from birth. They're a MOTHER. Get your terminology straight. Katie & Jen are MOTHERS.

34. Why do they always call the mothers of these children: Birth mothers? Weather they are biological or not is of no consesquence to anyone. As an adoptee I think I would feel odd or different, if everyone referred to my Mother as my Adopted Mother. Whoever raises these children, and gives them love, food and shelter is their Mom...and that is it!
