32. I dont think this is right... As a domestic abuse survivor I have to say that fake videos of celebrities getting hit isnt going to stop any man, or woman, if they feel that anger. Women have been getting abused for so long, and although I hate to see that it happened to Rhianna, I feel like these celbrites that are 'standing against violence' are only doing it to share in the spotlight that Rhianna's attack created. Please, if you want to help donate time or money to womens shelters, talk to teens in school about the abuse but DO NOT act it out. It doesnt help anyone.

33. WOW that was hard to watch, because years ago in my first marriage I was abused. The police & the courts, back then didn't really do much to help abused women. Thank God that has changed. If you are being hurt GET AWAY from the person no matter what it takes. Believe me when I say no matter how much they cry & say it will never happen again, it will happen again & again & it only gets worse.

Having been (I won't call myself a victim, because then they win) assaulted in a series of bad relationships as apparently I have a bad judge of character as my home was filled with violence what I see now that I have decided to carry on solo is that the young "men" (and I used that term lightly) of today are prone to violence. Be it verbal, emotional or physical they are nasty and violent at the drop of a hat...claiming disrespect or just the fact that this is the way their behaviour is.
Many of these people refuse anger management or counseling unless it is forced on them. My brother is a timebomb since the loss of my father and instead of talking about his pain he takes it out on me and points the finger of blame at me when I havent seen him or his family for over 16 months.
Abuse comes in many shapes and forms, the problem is that when these abusers get to the age of majority unless it is court ordered they go about their ways with everyone sticking their head in the sand because the abuser has a job and pays taxes so they must be doing something right.
OH...and this goes the other way too. Ive known women who punch their husband in the face because he won't make love to them because he doesn't want another baby. A woman who slaps her husband across the face because he is upset that she threw out his Sunday newspaper...and on and on and on...
We call every generation X, Y, Now...and so on...I say this is Generation Dysfunction.

35. you know its not just women that get abused by the one that surpose to love them, in fact my son just got his front tooth knocked out last weekend by his crazy ass wife... I wish she would either get some help for her temper problem or fall off the face of the earth... she knows he wont touch her becasue he truly does love her but what I am scared of is how long can a human being take this kind of abuse? it happens very frequent, and maybe one day he will just snap and does something he will regret for the rest of his life!! I dont know if there is anything I can do or else I would have done it a long time ago, I will listen to any advice anyone has cause I am at the end of my roap too...and i dont want to lose my son to a early grave or prison

36. I have to agree with you Davy Jo as someone who also survived domestic violence. All this ad shows is Kiera Knightly pretending to be abused, People need to understand that abusive men don't see themselves as abusive, they don't always start physically abusing someone the moment they become involved in a relationship. It's a steady destruction of a person's self worth and identity. The whole idea that Kiera and her boyfriend are pretending on a stage is pretty offensive to the reality of abuse.

40. Having seen the video, it was hard to imagine anyone would have anything negative to say about it. Silly me, I keep forgetting how stupid and petty some people are. Wallow in your bitterness and stupidity if you like, Keira did a great thing and I hope others follow her lead. Too bad that it took Riahanna to get this in the spotlight, yes?
