Madonna Denied -- Buy Your Babies Elsewhere!!

MadonnaMadonna could open the floodgates to a giant child trafficking problem -- at least according to the judge who denied her newest adoption bid.

Madge's bid to increase her brood with another Malawan baby -- 3-year-old Mercy James -- was nixed by the judge.

Madonna plans to appeal the decision -- but there's also eight little babies in La Habra just waiting for you...

17. This is disgraceful! This little girl is an ORPHAN living in horrid conditions...and exposed to HIV, malaria and people all around her dying of AIDS and when someone who cares steps in to help her have a better life it's DENIED?! That is inhumane! I am so shocked at this! Madonna was just trying to help and obviously cares very much about the issues going on Malawi. What a slap in the face this is to anyone who wishes to adopt. Seriously whether you like Madonna or not the fact that this poor girl who has no family able to take care of her will have to live in those conditions for the rest of her life is HEART BREAKING and almost CRUEL!

18. Who cares? Why doesn't she adopt an American child anyhow? There are plenty of children in the US that need a home.

19. ADOPT IN YOUR OWN COUNTRY, SERIOUSLY.

20. In order for Madonna to adopt this child she would of needed to fulfill the 18 month residency requirement. Which she would never of been willing to do. Money bought her David because she was able to cirvumvent the normal procedures. Im just glad someone in that country grew some balls and said no we have requirements you have to meet. Would this child of been better off with Madonna theres no way of knowing that for sure because money deosnt buy happiness

21. Children shouldn't be bought and sold like handbags, no matter where they come from. The little girl appeared to be well looked after and healthy, so why disturb her? Can't imagine Madonna would want a sick, truly needy baby anyway.

22. I'm definitely happy Madonna was denied since she seems to be more interested in skanking it up with A-Rod and Jesus rather than being a mother and focusing on her family. Her divorce from Guy was definitely her loss, not his...he can do so much better! But it is sad because this little girl would probably be better off with Madonna...oops, I mean her nannies...than in an orphanage. And it is completely ridiculous that they are all of a sudden enforcing a rule that they didn't before. Oh well, Madonna was probably only trying to adopt to improve her image anyway. Ha...it'll take a lot more than that! Funny how most celebrities can't be bothered to adopt any of the thousands of children in this country, the one that made them rich, successful and famous in the first place.

23. I think it is a crying shame that a child, living in an orphanage, is denied a chance for a better life. This child could have all the best of health care and food. It isn't about money, it's about another human being. What a sad situation.

24. Just because you "build a school" (for the publicity), doesn't mean you should be able to buy yet another possession, I mean child.

Adopting a child whether it be in the U.S. or anywhere else, SHOULDN'T be easy. You should have to jump through hoops to get that child. You should have to prove over time that you are competent as a parent AND a decent human being. Just because you have money, doesn't mean you should be able to get what you want, WHEN you want it.

To the person that said the little boy is a bright, etc. boy, how do you know? Have you spent time with the little one? Do you have proof that his life is better for being with Madonna now? I wonder how many of these parents who adopt outside of the U.S. teach these kids about the culture where they come from.

25. Why doesn't the crazy old lady anonymously send the family money every year instead.......oh, that's right, than she wouldn't be able to sport her new purchase around town

26. Its kind of sad for the little girl but she bent the rules last time and it caused such a fuss I don't think should could get away with it twice. What is different about her and Angelina is that AJ at least makes the effort to take the kids back to their homeland and maintain some sort of idea about their birth land. Little David had never been back to Malawi since Madonna took him away - couldnt understand the language and apparently didn't even recognise his own dad.

27. 2 million orpahns in that country- Madona is already doing alot of charity work there- do you really think she had nothing to offer this child- the little girl is NOT LIVING with her family- sad to say but, she has no future there- I have never seen her exploit any of her kids- so for those that say she does-exactly how does she do that?

28. i am definitely glad that Madonna did NOT get the little girl. I was, however, listening to CNN the other night and they made a good point. This little girl lives in an orphanage even though her grandmother and uncles live nearby. Hmmm, which is the better choice, although I certainly wouldn't pick Madonna....

30. I am so glad that the people of Malawi rejected Madonna's bid for this child. I am SICK AND TIRED of Caucasians adopting children of color no matter where they are born. What can a European-American teach an African American child about surviving in this racist society. Black boys in this country have to be taught how to respond to police when stopped for any one of a variety of nonsensical reasons by the racist pigs of this nation. I always wonder where are all the black families adopting white children? Why do you NEVER see this happening? I just wish she could find children to adopt that look like her!!! If you are going to adopt a black child learn how to take care of their hair!!! I'm tired of seeing little black children with dry ashy skin and wild unkempt hair because the parents do not know how to care for the unique needs of our hair and skin. If you adopt a black child you need to ask you black neighbors how to care for them!!!
