31. Madonna is a freak and just because she is rich it does not make her a great mom. Sorry but this Child has family that want her. Why cant she help them, instead of taking their children. 33. Reallybigmeandog, the major issue here is that Madonna is NOT looking for thse children in orphanages. She is taking them from families. David had a father. This little girl is under the care of the Grandma. The Grandma DOES NOT want to give this little girl up. She needs to adopt children who have no one. She can't just take a child from a family (mother or not.) Who are we to say that their living conditions are not healthy. Does that mean we can go to any third world country and take their kids away because life is better here? There is a real moral issue here.

I hope the activists who protested the adoption and the Judge who denied it will keep tabs on this little girl and let us know when she is married off at the age of ten and having babies at twelve (or worse). Don't forget her mother was only 14. When this child is old enough to know what was denied her for politics she will curse them all. I'm no Madonna fan but there is no question she could provide unbelievable opportunities for this child.

36. Oh bummer...so she cannot buy a baby today along with those new pair of shoes she wanted. oh well. Unfortunately though I give it a month and she will make this adoption happen. My heart goes out to the families who have to wait years to adopt and jump thorugh all sorts of legal loops and stuff to get the child of their dreams.

43. At least Madonna makes sure her kids eat healthy! Angelina Jolie is a serial baby adopter, and then ignores and neglects the kids she buys (illegally) She can spend hours a day learning stuff for her movies, but won't take 2 minutes to take something out of the freezer to make a healthy dinner - she admittedly serves them cereal all the time - what a lousy, selfish mom! Madonna is a much better mom than Angelina and I don't see why they won't let her adopt - anything is better than where that child is living now. So, how can Madonna be denied, when crazy skeletal mom gets to buy as many as she wants.

45. Although I feel bad for any child having to grow up in an orphanage I agree w/ the judge. She's buying children and that's not right. Many countries have very tough adoption laws and many make it impossible for foreigners to adopt because they don't want baby buying.
It's been a problem where children are stolen from their parents and sold. Though not the case here, letting someone come in and basically purchase a child w/out going throuhg the proper channels could open things up for that as the judge said.
Now would the child be better living w/ madonna....I'm not so sure. Yes she would have the basics...food, clothes etc. but madonna is not really the best mother around. She tours a lot, hardly home, has nannies raising the kids, disrespects the children she does have w/ all these men she runs around w/, she's even said to have used her divorce to get attention for her tour (which I believe).
The biggest is how she disrespects her kids and has no concern what her actions do to them.
She's been in the spotlight long enough to know how it works and knows that what she does gets printed and having affaris while married w/ married men, running around w/ these young guys all these things hurt her kids and she doesn't care.
She's just not a good role model for the children she has and buying children just isn't a good reason to adopt.
I question if it's just not apart of her "image" then loving a child.
