This is a tragedy. Phil Spector is a genius. People who diss him could never create the gorgeous music he did: the incredible "Wall of Sound" which revolutionized pop music forever.

In regard to the good doctor's post - that assessment might be true but, either way, I have no sympathy whatsoever. He's been a lunatic for many, many years...long enough for someone of his means to get both physical and psychological help. Evidently he decided on neither. I KINEW Phil Spector in the 60's and he was just as crazy and threatening, a mean sonuvabitch that people only put up with because of his talent. He had NO respect for women and almost everyone else. He deserves this fate!!! It' about time that he pays for all the crap he has dished out to everyone. I am sorry that Lana Clarkson had to pay the price for his craziness. He can now find Jesus and become a great gospel music producer...at least he still may have a "career." All there is of Lana Clarkson are memories.
