Ruth Madoff visited her embezzler husband Bernie Madoff at a federal correction center in Manhattan yesterday and left carrying a bag of money. Score!

33. Madoff plead guilty, and insisted that he acted on his own. He basically gave up his life for love, his wife. This greedy bitch will spend the rest of her life living a high life, while she was an accomplice from the beginning. Must get lonesome at times, no one will lunch with you, or even be seen with you, NY Society loathes and spurns you.

The common thread amongst Madoff, Standford and Charles Ponzi (”Ponzi Scheme was named for him) is (i) they all offered returns to investors that was higher than the competition’s and was seemingly too good to be true, (ii) they had outsized reputations for business acument and (iii) they “looked the part”. Corporate swindlers succeed within Corporate America because they have what is known as “executive presence” and they prey on corporations’ penchant for looking only at the surface of things. 44. It is not our place to judge. Our justice system will handle that. For those of you that have obviously never visited anyone in a Federal Institution you don't get it! That bag is all you are allowed to take in, a clear bag, ID and car keys. The clear bag can have no more than $20 in quarters and ones (some institutions allow $5's. Visitation is 8 hours and the only food available is from expensive vending machines. $3 for a chicken sandwich with Mayo. You are not allowed to leave and come back for meals and cannot take in any food or beverages. I cannot believe that everyone assumed that he is giving her money at visitation. Shame on the reporter for giving everyone that impression. This kind of reporting just fuels the story and hatered. If they can't get simple information correct, which is posted on the BoP website under visitation regulations, what else in all these stories is embellished just to enrage us and keep us reading?
